Boozy Tacos and Tap

We stopped here for brunch and absolutely loved it. We came in on a Sunday and had $1 mimosa. These mimosas were not only deliciously made, they were HUGE! We couldn't believe it. I loved the chips and queso and the texi mexi tacos. I also enjoyed a white claw rita. So good. Monique was so accommodating and friendly. She was very attentive and made sure we had cocktails during our time! The ambiance was amazing. Very well thought out and fun!!! I wish they opened a store in Las Cruces, NM! I think it would be a hit!Thanks for letting my dog sit with us!!!

I needed to update this review. I don't know what happened but I got so sick the last time I ate here. I'm not sure if I would come back since I've heard from friends that the same happened. :( I missed El Paso food so much while I was in Orlando that I immediately went to try the taco place that I've had on my list for a while...Boozy Tacos and Tap.We were greeted immediately as we talked in and I like the fact that they had 3 sections, one for fast casual for the workers looking to grab a quick bite with walk up counter service, and a section for full service, and an outdoor patio. We sat in the quick service area but the bartender quickly came around and took our order.It was on a Monday and they had $4 frozen alcoholic drinks. I got the mango strawberry painkiller and believe me it dulled all the aches and pain from walking everywhere at the theme parks. It was super yummy and super strong with 2 different types of rum. Definitely recommend.My friend got 3 crispy ground beef tacos and they asked if she wanted lettuce and tomatoes which she did. They are massive! They also remind me of Taco Bell tacos but on a grander scale. Very delicious with the medium salsa they had at the table.I got the "fancy" tacos with Arrachera, Ahi Tuna, and Artichoke. It was an A+ day I guess. Lol Anyhoo, I would recommend you get the sauces on the side since they came drenched in them, except for the Arrachera, it had nothing so you can put your own salsa on it. The meat was tender and the cojita cheese brought it up a notch in texture and flavor.The Ahi Tuna was ok, since I couldn't taste anything beyond the super sweet honey like sauce they liberally poured over it. It wasn't fishy or frozen so the fish is legit.The artichoke was the biggest surprise...I ordered it as a lark and honestly between the other 2 huge tacos and one of my friend's crunchy tacos, I was super full, but I tried it and it was heavenly. The creaminess of the artichoke and the zing of the sauce and crunch of the cabbage was perfectly juxtaposed. This was a taco elevated to gourmet.Best of all, the entire meal was LESS THAN $20.This is a great cheap date night with a nice atmosphere and stiff drinks. Of course it has to be over the devil mountain in the Northeast. Hopefully they'll expand quickly...but a little birdie told me Horizon will be next. -TODOELPASO

I have been there many times and I loved the place for the CRUNCHY tacos. I went in today at 11am the doors were locked. I had to call in to ask if they was gonna open at 11:15 am. Already making my lunch break short. I order 4 crunchy tacos which came super fast. The tortillas was burnt on the outside and not even cooked through the inside! After having a night full of char in my mouth I told him this was not right. He attempted to take them back and let the cook know. He came back with a new set of tacos which was at least not burnt. Now soaked in grease on the outside and not cook through the inside they tacos was even worst! I showed the server and at that point I was disgusted! I asked to take them to go! I was a big fan of this place and would always take my family and friends! I am very dissatisfied and disappointed! I feel sorry for the server cause he the one who has to show his face for this disgrace! I do not recommend this place till get their stuff together! It can't get the taste of burnt out of my mouth and now have a stomach ache thanks to the nastiness they gave me! Please get it together!

My colleague really recommended this place. I was pleasantly surprised that they had vegan options. The queso that they had was not very good, it was very thick and not very flavorful they said. They were looking for something more authentic like with green chilies. I ordered a cauliflower taco and a mushroom taco and the cauliflower was really good. The mushroom taco was too sweet. I was disappointed in their salsas. The guacamole had hardly any flavor. The waitress was very nice and helpful. The tv was a bit loud for my taste but not so much that we couldn't converse. I loved the blue corn tortillas. The tacos come with flour. If I hadnt known that i would be upset.

Pretty good local spot for some chilaquiles and mimosas!! It's close to my house too which is great because I almost always have a craving for chilaquiles! And who wouldn't enjoy a delicious mimosa?? On Sundays, they have $1 mimosa glasses which is irresistible.Service was very quick too which is great! I was hungry and super ready for chilaquiles but even more so for the mimosa! My friend wanted to meet up for brunch so I suggested this spot. Very affordable menu options so it was perfect.It's a fun sports bar setting with lots of high table tops and regular ones as well. I wasn't a fan of their chilaquiles in the end though. The sauce was a bit too rancid for my liking and made my stomach upset a bit. I might try the green sauce next time tho and see if the outcome is better!

Food was alright. The fideo my kid got was good, the rolled tacos my husband had were smothered in red sauce but it was so thick it tasted like tomato paste. We did not like them. The rolled tacos I got were ok, they were lacking flavor though. The fancy tacos, which you can get in different varieties were good. If I went back I'd stick to the fancy tacos. I wasn't a fan of the corn.The beer was ice cold and refreshing. They have various options on bottle and tap. The service was fast and friendly. They also have patio seating which is probably nice to have a few beers with friends.

Me and my husband love coming to boozys!! The vibe is great for having a nice conversation. Their drink specials are solid, And their bartenders are very attentive. If you go try the chicken and waffle taco. Shout out to Kat, our bartender for being so nice!

I feel Sorry for the server cause he is the one that has to show his face when you are receive receiving horrible from many times that I've been and I ordered the crispy tacos on Tuesday. They first bring me some soggy tortillas that are burned on the outside the meat and everything is well, so I tell her I eat the first taco and now I got this nasty taste to burn in my mouth. I let the server know he apologizes and he tries to make things right take the tacos back and tell them that they're supposed to be crispy or what not comes back with some more tacos that are even worse, soggy tortillas, barely even cook through but on the outside burnt again at that point, I said I just take him to go and leave which I feel I shouldn't have had to pay for it. The server did what he could to make the best out of the worst situation and not charge me four or six of the tacos you guys are getting worse and worse and worse. Every time I go I said it went for me wanting to go there every Tuesday to me not recommended to everybody because even though the tacos are cheap, you're not getting what you paid for highly super not recommended and I've gotta give major respect and prop to the server because he did everything he possibly could to fix the situation

Don't visit this place, they keep screwing things up. Unless you like warm beer, since they are always running out of our favorite beer, then you are at the right place.

If you are in El Paso you have to visit here atleast once!!!! The food was so good the first time i had to come back before leaving time
