Open to all guests, the Lodge front balcony offers a view of the Gila National Forest.
Kingston is surrounded by the Gila National Forest, far from cities, offering a night sky illuminated only by the moon and stars.
During spring, summer and fall our green landscape is a relaxing oasis.

We offer special events, too: a Star Party in May, summertime "starlight concerts" & Pickamania, an acoustic music festival, in September.

Everything that others have said regarding the welcoming nature of the owner, the adequacy of the rooms, the beauty of the surroundings, etc. is true, but I do think it's fair for people to know that the lodge has a major ant problem and that because they are only using non-poisonous ant-banishing methods, you will be sharing your breakfast area with ants in the morning if you stay there in the winter. Any food or water brought into guest rooms will end up crawling with ants. We even had ants in our beds, which was odd. Other than that, our stay was fine.

We stayed here and had a great time! The property is clean and well run and is a great venue. Note, there is no cell service, but they have wi-fi. Breakfast was great, our room was comfortable. We intend to return for a longer stay.

Awesome! Eight of us were bicycling across the Southern Tier of the U.S. We had just ridden Emory Pass and were celebrating our triumph! We stayed in the large house across the road from the historic lodge. It was comfortable for all! Charles, the owner, came over to jam with us in the evening. He's a great guitar player. Then he fixed a bountiful breakfast in the Lodge kitchen the next morning. Very welcoming!

My favorite place by far on our road trip. Pool table, hot tub, board games with books and movies....great people and a tasty breakfast makes the perfect bed and breakfast. The views were spectacular and quiet. If we're ever back in the area, we will return. The people are warm and inviting. Loved it.

We struck silver with this B&B! An adorable lodge steeped in history going back to the 1880's when Kingston was a silver mining town. The staff is phenomenal and friendly! We stopped over while biking through and couldn't have been happier with the facilities, staff, and gorgeous natural beauty of the area. If you need yourself passing through, you won't wanna miss Black Range Lodge!

We only came across this cool little place because while taking the back roads across county, our car began to act out. And after meeting some incredibly nice, hospitable, and informative people, I'm not even mad about my car. Though we were only there for a couple hours, it was enough for me to want to plan a trip here- this time on purpose.
