BJ's Chinese Cuisine

I was down in the area for work. Wanted a quick bite. A little hole in the wall place, which I usually go out of my way to visit. The service was good. Greeted promptly and seated quickly.Tried the lunch special... Pork fried rice noodles with fried rice, egg roll and hot sour soup. I quickly learned some of the meals are more traditional. The rice noodles and fried rice was very good. I likes the egg roll(I know, hard to mess up). Unfortunately, I was very disappointed in the hot and sour soup. No flavor, just tasted peppory hot. Overall, the service was good, good food not great, and amount of food you get for the price, it's worth the stop in for a quick bite.

The appetizer, chicken wings in oyster sauce, were brought to us 25 minutes after we ordered them and tasted of freezer burn. The Hunan beef was prepared with celery (and way too much of it) and little beef, the sweet and sour chicken was soggy and cold. We had to ask for silverware, napkins, and refills --which were not delivered in a timely manner. We waited over 15 minutes for our check after we asked for it. There were 5 other customers there so being busy is not an excuse for poor all around service.

I was downtown because I had to visit the court house and got hungry. I found this restaurant and was very pleasantly surprised how delicious the food was! The prices were cheap (lunch special) and came with egg rolls and soup accompaning the main dish. The wait staff was very fast and made small talk with me and made me feel like I was a regular. The food itself was very different and felt like authentic Chinese food that I haven't really found at other Chinese restruants. Next time I'm downtown, I'm definitely going to have lunch there again! I recommend getting the fried tofu, it was heavenly!

Another hole in the wall restaurant. If you've seen my stuff, I tend to favors these. It can be a little confusing to find, but once you do you'll be impressed. The owner is almost always there and I've enjoyed everything I've tried there.

First and last time going. Apart from the place looking a bit sketchy, I walked in to pick up my order they had me standing for a good 7 minutes and a cook walked out and didn't even acknowledge me. The food was terrible my boyfriend ordered curry chicken and I ordered the orange chicken, both chickens were dry and very strange tasting I don't know if you could call it chicken at all. Egg drop soup wasn't even egg drop soup it was just water with hints of egg. Do not recommend coming here to eat. I'm not one to give bad reviews but this was so bad.
