Billy the Kid Hair Designs

It was my first time going to Billy the Kid Hair Designs and once I walked in the door I was shocked as to how nice it was inside. I got a quality haircut and had a great conversation with my stylist. 10/10 would definitely recommend going to this salon than any other salon or barbershop in Las Cruces.

Sophia is amazing! Every time I come in she listens and does exactly what I want. Ever since I started coming to her my hair has gotten so much healthier! Everyone at the salon is so friendly and helpful. If you don't get your hair done here already, it's time to make the switch!

I'm a mostly bald guy, going pretty white in the brows...came by to tint the brows and get a 'haircut' and I met Sophia. Everyone made me feel welcome and Sophia was efficient and pleasant, nice to talk with while she worked. I liked the ambience of the place too. Nice local business-I'll keep coming back for sure!

Tony is the best! I had been getting my hair cut at a nearby hotel when one day my hairdresser forgot my name and that I had an appointment so luckily my friend won this haircut and gave it to me. I have been so happy with Tony. He listens, he gives good suggestions and takes the right amount of time to get things done and make you look great. Thank you for everything Tony!

Very friendly customer service. Never got the pleasure of George doing my hair him self, but my stylist made sure that I'm 100% satisfied before I left. On my second visit I have decided to change my hair from blond to red, and I was very happy with the colors (5 different shades of red) they have chosen for me.

While it's fantastic that this salon chose to respond now to the poor experience I had two years ago, it's unfortunately clear that their priority is still not the happiness of their customers.

I recently relocated to New Mexico from Las Vegas, Nevada. After years with my stylist in Las Vegas I was of course a bit nervous to make a change. I had been told George, the owner of the salon was excellent with color. So I gave the salon a call and Melissa could not have been more pleasant in listening to my needs and setting my appointment with George. The salon is very chic and clean and everyone very professional. George was patient as I explained my hair history and was very knowledgeable when it came to the preservation of the health of my hair... all while my wanting it very blonde. The color is gorgeous with layers of dimension. I have received so many compliments and I am more than thrilled than to refer George and the team at Billy the Kid Hair Designs!

I have been a client of this Salon for many years. I'm so sad that Tony has retired-he was the best!! Decided to continue at the salon and was given an appointment with Sophia. This is the worst haircut I have ever received. After waiting close to 3 months for a cut due to Covid 19 we discussed the cut before Sophia started and decided she would follow the same lines and leave shoulder length. I walked out with a wedge/ledge in the back that is crooked and a shaved neck!!! One side is longer than the other. Sophia left a chunk of hair on my neck on one side that we had to clip off. The styling was horrible- my husband said I looked like Justin Bieber with a bad haircut. I cried all the way home. Sophia is a nice person but does not listen or know how to cut hair. I love this salon but after this disaster with Sophia I will not be back.
