Biggs Park

Oktoberfest on Sunday was very good low-key early on. The music was good- the vendors were friendly, The Photo Booth was fun- the bet was good- the dancers were great! The seating was plentiful. Had a wonderful time- I'll have to come out again next year!

Moderately well maintained green square with a lot of things packed inside (softball fields, playgrounds, some outdoor workout equipment). Has set hours and is fenced in. Bigger than it looks on the map.

Biggs Park in Army Biggs Airfield in front of the SGMs Academy Rocks! They have walking trail, playgrounds, picnic areas, Grills, small water park, open areas for sports pt, obstacle cOurse (needs reservation) Basketball courts, Tennis Courts, and others. They open early and it is well kept.

Dear U.S. Army, Thank you for providing us with Biggs Park. With lovely amenities for children of all ages, Biggs Park provides such a wonderful park for all of the soldiers and their families. It is so easy to access and plenty of parking. We really enjoy the many activities throughout the year that you offer and provide free of charge: to include the bouncy house splash days, the 4th of July celebrations, and the firetruck hose spray days! We especially appreciate the clean areas to barbecue and picnic underneath the nice shade structures and all of the beautiful trees in the middle of the desert. The $1 ice-cream snacks at the snack bar are perfect for those hot summer days, too! This park is a must! There is so much to do and it is such a great space for the kids to get out and play.

Nice open space with lot's of green grass in the desert? Check. Perfect place for an outdoor event? Check. Some nice trees to get out of the sun? Check. I've been to a few events here like Oktoberfest and July 4th celebrations and they've all been great. Parking can be a bit of a challenging adventure at times but otherwise you couldn't ask for more in an outdoor space.

Was sad to learn that the splash pad is no longer there. The park is covered so a great place for kids to play in the hot Texas sun. I wish the tennis courts did not have the covering on the fence, it makes it hard to watch the kids if at the seperate play areas. There is a lot of room for the kids to play here.

This is such an amazing park. The only reason why I gave it a 4 is the time it opens. I feel like 10am is a little late for a park to be open. With this El Paso heat, I feel like it should be open a lot earlier than 10am for regular people to use. Except during PT hours.

I had my twins Bday party love service from guy in charge. All was perfect. Very nice, organized etc etc
