Today was moving day and I had scheduled Big Guys Movers to come out to load everything in the truck. They were wonderful! Two friendly guys arrived early, got organized and loaded the truck up super well. Everything fit great. They were careful with everything and were really safe working together with how they moved things. They quoted two guys for two hours and they nailed it. It was done in two hours! Don't pass up the chance to give this company your business when you need things moved and packed. A+Affordable, efficient and made our hectic day so much easier.

The movers that came to move my house broke some of my furniture and didn't tell me about it and then they tried to cover it up, when we tried to contact we got no response. The movers were friendly and great at their job. If I would have had my furniture fixed or at least they would have been honest about the damage it would have been a five star rating

Quick and friendly service. Reasonable price. Would change to 5 stars however they were short on blankets and a hutch and base were dented and scraped. The said they would repair. Fingers crossed. If they repair I will change the rating.

It is definitely risky and such a hard decision on which moving companies to use when you need the entire inside of your home moved almost 1000 miles away especially when it comes to the price when using a moving company. We decided to go all in and trust Willie and his company Big Movers and we where more than satisfied with the service and the precautions they used on our valuable items. They weren't any cheaper or any more expensive than any other company. I would recommend to anyone who ever needs assistance with moving. Thanks for the move from NM to Cali!

The best I can say is that they showed up on moving day as scheduled. They also worked out keeping my items in storage until I closed on my new home. That's where the good comments end.Facts:1. I asked for a Fri. delivery date but the scheduler chose Sun. instead and tried to blame me saying, "I thought you said that date." It was too late to change.2. Then I was blamed for not being home when the delivery came on Sat. instead of the scheduled Sun.3. A major piece of furniture was broken and instead of an apology or "don't worry, we'll help you on the claim" I was asked how it happened as though it was my fault.4. Many of my boxes marked with big red fragile stickers and "Please load on top" or "Top load only" were rough-handled. I saw them loaded in every which way and when delivered sometimes they were the bottom of a stack of heavy book boxes.5. The worst, though, is their failure to respond. I wrote several emails and texts trying to get someone to call me to work out the claim on the destroyed table. Finally, a very snotty lady called and after listening to her explain things that didn't need explaining I tried to get a word in to let her know what the upset was about. She rudely cut me off and refused to let me ask a question or speak. I am not used to receiving phone calls where the person simply shouts at me as I try to explain what's going on. She complained about the number of "very long emails" I'd written. Well, yes, they are long. They contain a lot of information. In the end, after yammering on right through anything I tried to say or ask she hung up on me.She considered it a threat when in my email I explained that I wanted to give a good review but their failure to respond was pushing me toward this review. She laughed and said, "We don't care if you give us a bad review." That pretty much sums up their attitude about customer service. The customer is allowed to be quiet and listen when they finally decide to respond. The customer's concerns don't matter, her possessions don't matter, damages don't matter. Basically, you don't matter.

could give these movers zero stars I would. I have not done many reviews of local businesses but when the service is so poor I really felt like I must because I wanted to make sure that others are forewarned. This is not a professional moving company. They walked through our house and gave us an estimate and the final cost was many thousand dollars more than what they estimated. They denied that we asked them to move all our things and did not allot enough time to move all our things before the closing on our house. If we personally did not pack for 10 hours a day both days of the move which we did not plan for on due to medical issues, we would have had to stay in the house longer and owe money to the new owners and potentially face legal issues. They kept on asking "Is this going?" for every item even though we explained that everything must go. They charged us the same rate an hour for packing when 2 people were working as when 5 or 6 people were working. They worked so slowly that we had to pack many of our things ourselves as fast as possible even though we contracted for them to pack and move the entire home. The communication was so bad that it seemed deliberate. They kept on asking the same questions over and over again. When they moved our things I actually saw them handling things roughly and there were several things broken. Dishes were just placed in boxes without wrapping them up. I don't know how much damage I will find in the other end. Finally when the move was "completed" which was hours after the closing, we were lucky enough to have the new owners let us walk through the house. These are only some of the photos of the things left behind. Almost every drawer had several items left behind. We had to buy more expensive packing materials and rent a larger trailer to get the stuff that they left behind in the house which included art work, my wedding dress, electronics. Do not use this company! You will regret it.

They broke a bunch of my furniture, three bookshelves and my bed, and seriously damaged an antique dining table. I spent $300 for new shelves, don't have the money to replace the bed, and it will cost me another $300 to repair the antique table. They also put an oil lantern upside down in a box with important papers and several handmade sweaters. It all had to be thrown away as it was flammable liquid and you can't let flammable liquid sit in a box with papers without a risk of combustion, nor can you wash and dry clothes with it. They came and looked at the damage... And gave me $20 cash in compensation for everything they broke or ruined. They moved several other people I know within the same week and damaged a a good deal of their belongings. They also barely compensated them. You want to know that your stuff is safe when you're moving and that the moving company has your back if they break something. These guys sure don't, and they don't even care.
