Best coffee I've ever had - especially Big Blend. I order via BBCR web site when I can't get to Marfa. Easy to order, and delivery is without issues. Interactions with staff and owner, when needed, is always excellent.

While my wife and I were staying at the Gage Hotel in Marathon for our week-long Big Bend National Park trip, the coffee we tried in our room and at the lobby in the morning were quite good. Even the decaf coffee I tried at night (for some reason, any amount of caffeine keeps me up at night nowadays so I refrain from drinking anything caffeinated after 3 PM or so) was equally good. When we saw that they were roasted by Big Bend Roasters, we made it a point to stop by during our brief stay in Marfa before the long drive back home. After a late lunch at The Water Stop, we checked Yelp and it indicated Big Bend Roasters will remain open until 3 PM. We got there at around 2:30 PM and saw "Closed" sign on a door. Thinking there must be a mistake, I opened another door and must've startled the guy in there in what looked like an area where they bag the beans. In any case he told us to come in via the other door with the "closed" sign. When we came in, we asked if they were closed and he just shrugged and asked us if we knew what we want. My wife told him about the coffee at the Gage Hotel and he knew exactly which ones we wanted. He went back into the room we initially saw him in and bagged the whole bean coffee we requested (2 1-lb bag of Bolivia Caranavi and Decaffeinated Mexico Chiapas). We were charged $13 for each bag! Looking at their website, they charge $15 per bag not including shipping...so glad we stopped by and bought coffee right there to get the discount. While I don't think we'll make the 6.5-hour drive just to buy coffee from them, perhaps we can ask friends visiting the area to stop by. We are now fans and currently savoring coffee from Big Bend Roasters while at home this foggy December morning...nothing like coffee made from freshly ground coffee beans poured from a French press!

Not open during their posted business hours is disappointing. I don't want to pay shipping for something I stopped by for while I was visiting.

This is one of my favorite coffee roasters in the entire country. Their toddy blend makes delicious cold brew, and their prices are very reasonable per bag. I pop in every time I'm in marfa, and everyone's always been very nice, plus it's fun to see all the machines in the back. I highly recommend grabbing beans from them if you're in town!

Terrific experience! Great place to go and pick up coffee if you're out here on vacation like we are. $12 a pound; cheaper than a pound of coffee from Starbucks. You can meet the guys who roast the coffee. The roasters will chat with you and give suggestions based on what your taste is. I was happy to support this awesome local business!

Iced coffee was a little timid but ok. A customer from the laundromat connected to the big bend came in to say her laundry was stolen. Woman at the counter provided very little customer service or even human empathy to her. Not really the kind of person I like to support with my dollars.

Requested milk in my coffee from their online menu and got a black coffee instead. When I told the ONLY girl that works there that I wanted milk in the coffee she said it had milk with a tremendous attitude and then marched off with the cup to add milk. Then the cup is leaking and I can't understand why until I take the lid off and it's overfilled and hot coffee goes all over my hands and shoes because she purposely filled it up so high because she was mad that I asked for milk when she forgot to do it. Truly regret tipping, was extremely poor service. Heard from a local that she's always in a bad mode when anyone asks her for anything.

Best coffee ever! Ever since I started drinking BB Coffee I don't like to drink anything else. When I travel I make sure to pack my BB coffee. The BB coffee is one of the best things to offer in Marfa Texas. Shout out from West Virgina!

Great coffee and service. We like their dark roasts and also like buying their coffee for gifts! Easy to find on outskirts of Marfa. Deep fruity notes delight us
