Hungry? Stop at Benji's! I know, it doesn't look like much from the street, but you'll be glad you stepped inside. You'll be even happier with the squeaky clean, inviting little dining room, the sweet ladies who serve, the kind locals, and the excellent food.We had driven a few hours and were more than ready for breakfast! This was it, I said and hubby wanted to pass when we pulled up, but agreed to walk inside and see. Say no more. We were greeted by lovely ladies. The friendly happy locals were enjoying their beautiful breakfast and the dining room is delightful. Without hesitation, we took a table. This was going to be a great stop! And we were right!I got the egg white veggie omelet, and she was instantly agreeable to my multiple substitutions. Instead of hashbrowns and toast, I asked for creamy delicious refried beans. Yes! Instead of egg whites, I wanted the whole 3 eggs! Yes! And may I have salsa for my omelet? Yes, and how about a whole bowl? When the salsa was getting low, she asked if I would like more. Yes, please! This salsa was worth its own photo shoot, so flavorful and just the spiciness I love, about medium.Hubby enjoyed his chicken fried steak with white milk gravy. Yeah, I broke my diet and had a few bites! So good!!!

The food was just ok. It tastes like they probably need to change the oil in the fryer. Great customer service.

This restaurant is pretty good. I've had their passole; which I enjoyed. It's a good lunch spot.

Favorite place for chicken enchiladas! They make their own corn tortillas and I love them! I enjoy their red and green sauces, tasty but not too hot. The chicken is juicy. They serve their enchiladas open face which I prefer.Benjis is a small place inside but there is some room to eat outside. Take out or dine in. Very friendly service. Family run.

Outstanding Mexican breakfast! Skip the fast food places and drive a couple blocks to this gem. I'm glad I did. Don't let the exterior deceive you. It's lovely, warm and refreshing inside. The food is delicious. A great road trip find.

Great little place that we found for breakfast. I had a small bowl of Menudo, egg and bacon burrito and huevos rancheros everything was outstanding. Stop by.

If you are traveling through Deming and are hungry look no further. This is authentic world class New Mexican food. Not fancy, just really great food. I doubt I will ever pass this way again and not stop.The first stop I had enchiladas montadas with red AND green sauce with eggs on top. The second time I had chiliequilies with carne asada. Both dishes blew me away...

We stopped here becausee it said they have outsside seating but they don't. (We are traveling with our dog.) It's not very big inside, I counted 7 tables. But it's clean and looks to be well run. I got the fish tacos. It comes with 3 tacos, rice & beans. Nice, tasted great.My SO ordered carne asadaa quesadilla and chili relieno which was wonderful.Nice people, fast service, reasonable priced, what's not to like?

The service and food here are amazing. I've had many of their breakfast and lunch/dinner plates. The food is always very good. Authentic Mexican food like it's homemade. Chile is always the right amount of heat. Come and eat here. You'll enjoy it.

This place has amazing food and excellent service too. The green chile is so good. We are very happy we stopped in. Lots of food for the price. Don't pass this one up!!!!
