Bee's Hive is the Bees-Neez! Stopped in for breakfast this a.m. & I didn't get the names of the 2 women working, but they were awesome! They were laughing, carrying on, & in great spirits for a Sunday morning! They picked up on my own sense of humour when they started jamming out to Ini Kamoze's only hit "Here Comes the Hotstepper" & I yelled from across the room "turn it up!" They definitely made my morning! The breakfast plate I ordered was good, very basic fare you'd see at a taqueria, but that Salsa Verde was awesome! I'm a Salsa Rojo guy but Bee's Salsa Verde was on point today! Still thinking about it!

We are so glad we came here for lunch. This is a small, no frills, family owned restaurant and they seem to have revolving hours. If the sign out front says OPEN, I suggest you go in!We got the best enchiladas we've ever had in Texas. The rice and beans were also deceiving my delicious. This is one of the few places I can honestly say you can taste the love in their food. And it's delicious. Bring cash in case. Highly recommend, one of our top spots in Marfa.

Cash or local check only, no credit card. Open 8am - 12pm and 5pm - 9pm Tuesday thru Sunday, closed Monday. This is a great little local spot for breakfast or dinner. Bee and Oscar are very friendly. The menu is simple and the food is good. Also, Bee's cousin's artwork is on display and for sale (shymarfa.com). Both the restaurant and artwork are worth checking out.

Good food. Hours are not often enough for me, but I think Bee pretty much runs it herself. I got menudo on Sunday morning, but the price was a bit more than I am used to paying. All in all, it is worth a trip over from Alpine now and again.

I love a place that makes you feel as though you are eating in their home. Delicious kitchen aroma as soon as you walk in. I could easily over eat here every day, thank you for the hospitality and amazing dinner. This is my favorite place in the whole world, right now.

The sign said OPEN so in we went on a night of heavy winds. The hamburger was nicely cooked with leaf lettuce, onions, pickle. The bun was excellent. I added fries which were hand cut. Some were too thick to be fully cooked inside, so the waitress brought me new ones. My wife had the cheese enchilada with Christmas, rice, beans and an optional fried egg on top. She thoroughly enjoyed it. This small dining room seats 24 at just four tables. Bea's Hive is not unlike what we found in Old Mexico in the 1980s, a family owned business doing its best.

Had really great stacked enchiladas with an egg. Home-style West Texas cooking! So glad Marfa had some Tex-Mex offerings again - especially from a local.

Stopped by after Reading reviews. Hours very but if the sign is open and customers are there then they are open. The two women are extremely delightful! We had the Taco dinner the food was delicious. My husband said it was the best Tacos he has ever had. The green sauce has a lite bite to it but isn't to hot. Would definitely eat there again if we were ever back, unfortunately heading back to Northwest Indiana tomorrow.

Bee's Hive is a quaint little hole in the wall with the best homemade food in Marfa. It's not a huge place, but the kindness of the owner made the place feel homey and lovely. There's no set menu, but they've got the options available. When we went, there were burgers, tacos, and enchiladas available. As a vegetarian, they recommended a bean and cheese gorditas -- they were phenomenal, as well as the two salsas. My partner had the green chicken enchildas: he said they were extremely authentic and very fresh tasting and delicious! We are so glad we stopped in for a bite!

This is an awesome little place, centrally located. Maybe the only place left in town where you can get delicious food for reasonable prices. The owner is super friendly and if you're lucky, she'll come out and say hello. Skip Marfa Burrito (which is overrated and has gone downhill) and hit up Bee's. If she's got agua Fresca on the menu, just get it.
