The next time you are anywhere near Deming, NM take a few minutes to stop and visit at this wonderful museum. You will meet the most amazing two guys in the west and have a chance to look at their fabulous geode collection. We first found them while visiting Rock Hound State Park which is located just a few miles from the museum. We stopped that first day and learned so much. Now we always stop each time our road trip offers the chance. We drop in for a visit and usually find another fine piece for my personal collection. I have uploaded several pictures that show my recent purchases and the museum. Stop, visit and know that these guys are touching the earth with such love and peace. Great place!!

Be absolutely sure to stop here. We learned so much and the rocks are beautiful. There is a cool cat that lives here and the geologist who gives the tour of the small shop is very interesting. He will tell you how to find your on thundereggs too. Worth a quick stop.

NOT TO BE MISSED We stopped in at this fascinating museum on our way up to California hoping to find some cool geodes or "thunder eggs," what we found exceeded our expectations. The shop is owned by a man named Christopher who tells the BEST stories. He is extremely knowledgable about the geodes because he has spent his whole life finding, cutting, and polishing them. Stop in on your drive and I promise you won't be disappointed!!! This place is a hidden gem.
