There was no dine in but I understand and expected that. We ordered the barbacoa tacos. They come 4 per order. The amount of barbacoa is generous. That said, the tortilla is nothing amazing and seemed like the plain kind you get at Walmart. Because of how flimsy the tortilla is, the taco falls apart. The weight was too much for the thin tortilla. I would suggest either thicker tortillas or leaving them on the Comal a bit longer. They give you pico de gallo, guacamole, onion n cilantro mix and red salsa( spicy) the barbacoa was a bit on the greasy side. Albeit it comes with the territory, it was a but too much. Left the roof of my mouth all greasy. In short, not the best experience. I will give it a 8 because of portion but will dock to a 7 because of the greasiness.

The barbacoa is heated on a flat iron and when served its dry and tasteless. Unfortunately there are no other Barbacoa places that sell it here in El Paso.

My buddy and I were in the mood for some barbacoa on a Sunday morning and while driving around his new neighborhood , we happened to find this little gem. Since it actually had barbacoa in the title, we figured we should at least check it out. To our delight, it turned out that they ONLY sell barbacoa and it was exactly how I was hoping they would. They sold it by weight. I was very happy about that, because I prefer to be able to make my own tacos. They sell it by Kilo with the lbs equivalent next to it. They do also happen to serve orders of tacos and lonches (sandwiches), but we were interested in getting it by weight. The barbacoa comes with pico de gallo, a mix of onions and cilantro, a red and green sauce, and with a small bowl of limes. I later noticed that their flier says you also get guacamole, but we did not happen to get any, and to tell you the truth, I think it would be too rich to add that to it. The barcacoa is very tasty. It is moist, but not overly greasy with the huge clumps of fat that Ive seen at other locations. They heat it up on a flat grill, so I am sure that helps drain some of the fat from it. You also get a hot, heaping pile of corn tortillas to start putting your own tacos to your liking. We saw them pulling the corn tortillas out of a plastic bag and getting heated up on the grill, but I won't judge too harshly on that since there are plenty of tortilla factories in the area and I am sure they get them fresh. They definitely tasted very fresh. The place is not huge, but it does have tables that can easily be put together by the back wall to accommodate large groups. We actually saw a large family doing just that and it makes sense if you are going to order a whole kilo of barbacoa! That's a whole lot of meat! I happened to notice that their hours end early. 7am-4pm on weekdays and 7am-3pm on weekends. So come early if you want to partake in their great barbacoa.1Kg/2.2lbs - $253/4Kg/1.7lbs - $191/2Kg/ 1.1lbs - $12.501/4Kg/ 0.6lbs - $6.50

OMG. Taco perfection right here. I'm really really sad that I cannot eat these tacos every day, because I WOULD.On my last day in El Paso, I had to sample some authentic tacos. And while barbacoa isn't my favorite meat (I prefer pastor) this place was open at 7am and had good reviews on Yelp. So I woke before anyone else and came in for a taco breakfast. They ONLY serve barbacoa, so if you really just don't like that meat, you are out of luck and should go elsewhere. But it was just amazing. I ordered the tacos, and you get 4 of them for $6. They are filled with meat and come with great sides and sauces. I was in heaven and told my siblings they were nuts for not partaking in taco breakfast with me. I was too full to eat the last one and cried a little as I wrapped it up and threw it away :(. The sauces were spicy and perfect, and the meat was moist but not greasy. What a fabulous place to get some awesome barbacoa!! Can you please open a location in Nashville?!!

Really good Barbacoa! I'm a little surprised that in a city like El Paso doesn't have many Barbacoa houses. Don't get me wrong, Barbacoa is not necessarily hard to come by, but in actual Mexico Barbacoa is often sold at establishments dedicated solely to Barbacoa (and related foods like colitas de pavo), a Barbacoa house, if you will (sadly not a house built entirely out of tasty, tasty Barbacoa).Anyway, you don't find many of these places in El Paso, and Los Cuatro Vientos is just that kind of place. They only sell Barbacoa here, whether by the lb. or tacos & sandwiches. I like their no-frills menu, and the Barbacoa is really good! The Barbacoa is moist, but not overly greasy, just squeeze some lime, put some salsa and add some onions, and boom, you got yourself an excellent taco.WARNING: Los Cuatro Vientos closes at 4pm on weekdays and 3pm on weekends, so plan accordingly.

This is the best barbacoa I have ever had in El Paso. I've only had better barbacoa in Juarez. It is expensive, about twice what I can buy barbacoa for in other place, but it is worth it. Tortillas. Sauce. All perfect. Surprised it's only rated 4 stars. This is clearly 5 star food.

The food is extremely good. My problem with establishment was the day I ordered and pick up my order there was a line inside. People were respecting 6 ft apart and mask. A young men went in the establishment and did not have a mask and the owner let him stay without a mask. I wonder if the owner knows he put the other six people at risk if the unmasked man was contaminated since when breathing corona 19 is airborne. At this times safety is very important in my opinion establishment owners have the responsibility to keep people safe in there establishments.
