Barbacoa El Azul

The food is fantastic and the service is impeccable. This is my go to spot for barbacoa. Well cooked and perfect, generous amount of salsa and cilantro/onion accompaniment.

3.5 stars. First time I came here, it was around 1500 on a weekend and they had run out of food! So I tried it again another time and it's solid. They serve 2 things, tacos and something else with barbacoa in it. It's really simple and straightforward but I like simple and straightforward. I got the tacos (4 of them) and ate there. They give you limes, onions, and I want to say parsley(?). Again, really, really simple place. Friendly people who work here also.

The place is super clean , there's only barbacoa but it's soo good .. the place is super clean and meat is soo tender and has a great flavor! Honestly its small but I have to say I LOVE IT AND WILL BE COMING BACK FOR SURE !

Hands down best barbacoa in town. Not greasy nor dry. Tortillas and bolillo are made at the restaurant for an even more authentic taste. Great place to stop for lunch.
