Baquera’s Grocery

We moved close to Arrey, New Mexico (10 mins away from Lake Caballo), about 3 weeks ago. We are SO HAPPY to find out that a family owned grocery store is only 10 mins from our new farm house!!! Tony (owners son) was very helpful and friendly. The Grocery store has any thing you might need in a pinch including Green Chilly!! We needed toothpaste, pinto beans and Red Bull. I noticed while I was shopping that they also had a plumbing section, videos, every thing a very stocked convince store would have, and they even had live night crawlers for fishing. We loved the "book exchange" in front of the store, so please bring a book and take a book we like that kind of community sharing. Also they have a gas pump. Great for a guy like me that takes it down to empty befor refueling. I will for sure support this Grocery and would say to any one visiting at Lake Caballo come and get anything you may have forgotten at your lake day.

The best tortillas and N M chili. It's surprising how much this little store carries.
