Baker Glass

Needed a glass top for a custom table I was making out of a car wheel. Made in less than 1 day. And way less $ than I expected.

Took my car to get a pretty bad chip/gash in my windshield. I needed to get it fixed immediately. They were fast and reasonably priced. I chose this business because it seemed less expensive than other windshield repair companies I found online.

after remodeling my bathroom my contractor suggested I call Baker Glass for installation of the shower door and a window between the shower and the bath tub (replacing what was there before). They came out looked at the shower and told me I would have to cut the quartz ledge or they would not be able to install the shower door. so, like an idiot I paid the quartz peps to cutoff the edge on both sides so it would look symmetrical. Made an appointment to go to the show room to pick out the glass and so on... picked it all out, showed them where I had cut the quartz as directed, and they wanted to come out one more time to make sure they had the right measurements. When they got there to measure again, a new man was with them, telling me they would not be able to install a door unless I had the entry way squared off, bust out the tile and wall and rebuild the entry. Needless to say I was pissed! I called the office and was told they really didn't know and would have to look at it again! So here they come again, and the same results except I didn't need to cut the quartz!!!! so I talked to the owners daughter, told her how pissed I was and that I was going to ask some other glass places for quotes. A week or so later after talking to other glass peps and contractors I was told with the shape of the shower I could most likely do without a door, maybe just the window. Called the owners daughter back asked that in light of everything how about installing the window at a discounted price, since I paid $200.00 to cut the quartz, that did not need to be cut. she agreed to give me a discount (their discounted price was the same as other glass places regular price) she wanted to send one of her experts to measure one more time, met him there and they ordered the glass, made arrangements for it to be installed today, it was the wrong size!!!!! it hung over the end by about 2 inches, called the daughter back and she told me to take my business elsewhere!!!!!!! I did nothing wrong, they screwed it all up and they want me to take my business elsewhere. I will, and I will send them a bill for replacing my quartz ledge!!!!!! never do business with them, use Alamo Glass instead!.

Raul and Dude were very professional. They came out, measured my double pane picture window, called back with an estimate the same day. In less than a week, they came back and installed it and did an excellent job!

Gave me a date to come out for an estimate and then said it was scheduled for the next day. I was ok with that, and was looking for a time frame. When I got transferred to another man, I was told they have no schedule and he cannot get to me until sometime later in the week, but he doesn't know what day or what time. I asked for clarity and he kept talking over me. His tone was rude, degrading. All I asked for was a repair estimate, and an accurate day/time so we can work out the scheduling issue. The man I spoke to then said he didn't know who told me that they could come out (today) (I called last week). I then said I didn't get his name. Then I asked who I was speaking to now, and his response is "I'm the Manager. You're speaking to the manager." Again, no name. He said "Do you want us to make the repair or not!" I said "yes, that's why I called in the first place. I've used Baker Glass on Dyer St before and so liked the service." He kept speaking over me. Our call ended with him telling me if I am not willing to "work with them" then to call somebody else. I asked for a recommendation of other companies and he said "you can use your phone and find out." I miss the people on Dyer St. They were professional. Thanks to this ordeal with the east side office, I do NOT Recommend Baker Glass anymore. The Manager himself ruined my experience. Do not call the this office.

I recently bought an old Mercedes, and it came with a broken side mirror. I drove in 15 minutes to 5pm and Manny asked me to drive it to the back and he got someone to work on it right away. A few minutes later it was done. Service was great and the price was awesome. I will definitely recommend this place to all my friends and family..

Terrible customer service. Run poorly by manager "Manny". Did not resolve issue. Do not use this company. Very poor experience. Unorganized, delay in readiness of product, did not offer a discount due to poor coordination from staff, and no communication skills or conflict resolution skills. They recommended I seek someone else instead of offering a reasonable discount for these people dropping the ball on several occasions. Do Not utilize them. Run.....

Showed up, no greeting. Gentleman working was on the phone having a conversation, never even turned to look at us. There was an older gentleman waiting in front of us, he told us he had been standing there for 20 minutes. Unbelievable. Luckily, my glass was already on the floored so we just informed the busy man we would be taking it. It was until then that he turned around

This company is outstanding. they are normally able to get you in the same day. I have used their services three times and they have all three times been neat about their work.
