I've been going to Bairds for years for various of our cars - mostly newer cars and all of the little things they need as general maintenance. Recently I bought an older truck (1986 F150 4x4). It had sat for over a decade, so needed all of the things. Bairds has done an amazing job. Got her running and running SMOOTH. I love this truck and couldn't be more grateful to Bairds for their patience, skill, and reliability. I 100% trust this business.

Untrustworthy. Decided to give them a try so I brought my vehicle in for diagnosis. Check engine light was on, brake light was on, and occasional noise coming from front axle. Upon picking up my vehicle, they did not check what codes were causing my "service engine" light, did not check my brakes or could tell me if they needed fluid, brake pads, rotors, etc. They disassembled my 4wd hub, and let me drive away with the cv axle completely loose and free hanging. I had to research YouTube videos and re install the internal portions of my 4wd hub at home. (Took me about 15 min)They charged me $225 in labor. They should be ashamed of themselves, I will warn everyone to stay away from "Baird's automotive"

Came in for an urgent request as I'm driving across the country. They let me know they were extremely backed up and could t help me but recommended a fellow tire shop. Went over there and they were able to help me out immediately. Bairds could've easily just sent me on my way but they were very helpful.

My Mercedes SL550 broke down in Demming, NM and had to be towed in for repair. Normally repair work is / was only done by an authorized Mercedes Dealer, however I was assured by many friends that Baird's not only is 55 Tow Truck miles closer to home, They do excellent work. Long story short, they ordered the damaged idler pulley and serpentine belt and as soon as parts came in, had my car ready to go in two hours.Bonus is the very, very fair pricing for the work involved! Bravo to all the folks down at Baird's and they now have all future business on both of our Mercedes vehicles.

Courteous and professional. I needed a safety inspection done on my new (for me) truck. Everyone else wanted to see it first and would not quote a price to check it out. Now, thanks to Bairds, I know what needs to be done before I can safely hook a load to it. I am grateful they took the time they did to look at everything. Thank you Bairds for the warm fuzzy!

Be aware, NOT HONEST! I was driving through Las Cruces and found out I have a power steering fluid leak. I looked on line and Baird's had good reviews. I called, and they said to bring it in. I thought it would be something minor, but to my surprise, they said I needed a new rack and pinion assembly. They quoted me a price of $1200. I decided not to do it, and I drove the car like this for over 2 months. Last week, I noticed that the leak got worse, so I took it to a local shop in the Cleveland, OH area. I told them that I thought I'd need a new steering rack, but they wanted to check for themselves. They called me back and said the repair will cost $99! There was just a leak from one of the lines, so the line needed replacing.

These people are great! I dropped my truck off for an oil change, tune up and diagnosis of check engine light/codes. They did the diagnosis and the needed work plus checked over the belts, brakes, tire pressure etc. They took me home when I dropped my truck off AND picked me up when it was finished. The price seemed very reasonable to me. I will definitely take my truck here again.

efficient, quick , and thorough . I have brought all of my vehicles here and always got squared away and taken care of in a timely fashion ! Will always come here reliable and professional . So considerate . They really go the extra mile .

Cammie is a rock star! She took great care of us. She really knows her stuff. We were passing through Las Cruces and our starter went out late on a Friday afternoon. They had our van towed to the garage and they fit us in and had us back on the road in two hours. I would recommend them to anyone!

Plus 2 stars for repairing the problem with my car. Minus 3 stars for not reinstalling all of the mounting brackets and associated securing hardware. I paid over seven hundred dollars for a repair and the mechanic chose to leave off around one hundred dollars in mounting brackets and hardware when reassembling the removed parts. Later I was informed that that parts were missing. When I stopped by Bairds their position was that they didn't remove the hardware and they refused to fix the problem! I had to spend more money to buy the missing parts and get them installed on my car. Save yourself time, aggravation, and money and get your car repaired at another shop!​
