Our service tech was nice enough, however the work that was done was poor. You can see by the pictures, I would not call this cleaning the area. I was out of town and the work was performed when my wife was at home, beware it looks like advantages are taken on those who are not familiar with HVAC equipment. Cleaning was a waste of money as we have seen no change in how our second unit performs. Also, the technician showed up with no filters. Strange huh? He had to deliver them the following day, and we had to ask for them as he had forgotten to deliver them. Had my wife not called and asked for the filters that we had paid for, that were part of the Preventive Maintenance Program.

It's been a year since my troubles with them and every time I see their stupid vans out and about, I get reminded of just how awful they've been and the anger comes back. Initially we had called them for a service call as our A/C stopped working. Tech came, replaced a capacitor and all was working well for around 3 days. A/C stopped working again, same guy came out then said this time is wad the whole compressor that needed to be replaced. It was still under warranty but the out of pocket expense was still alot. We had to wait quite a while for the compressor to come in and wouldn't release it to us until after we pay for it, then file a claim for the warranty. Understandably l, my wife was upset. The receptionist misinterpreted my wifes frustrations as rudeness and being condescending. They told us they would no longer be helping us because of that, said that the compressor was at the distributors warehouse and that any other company could help us with that. Before I decided to hire another company to replace the compressor I decided to needed to call someone else for another troubleshoot of the system. Turns out, the fusebox needed to be replaced. These liars wanted us to fork out over 1k to replace an entire compressor when all was needed was a simple fuse box. A month of no A/C because some lazy tech couldn't figure out what was really wrong with the system. "Derp, it wasnt the capacitor, i dont know what it is, its hot and i wanna go home. Ill just say its the compressor and call it a day. Derp."

No response-- no action- no repair. Have been dealing with B&G since 7/18-- today is 8/5. AC unit is still not working. Having hot air below into house when temps are over 100 is not a fun way to be at home. Per the persons who answer the phones they have advised me "David" handles my repair. Since David has not made any forward progress to get repair completed, I belief David hasn't been working either from home or at the office since 7/18. I suggest extreme caution when you choose a repair service. My experience with B&G Mechanical has been FAR--FAR--FAR from successful to getting a repair completed !!

Called on a Thursday for an estimate on an evaporative cooler. Luis came out and quoted me a price of 1400 for the entire job and scheduled for Monday at 8:30 AM. Monday morning he calls me and says he did not realize the price of materials had gone up. He now said the new price was 1600 and he would go out on Tuesday. I said ok to the price but to please come out on Monday. After a call back he said Tuesday was the earliest and he wouldn't go down at least a 100 dollars. He said he wasn't getting rich off of evaporative coolers. This job was for my elderly father who has no air during 100 degree weather, is on a fixed income, and is a proud US veteran. So you decide if you want to do business with Luis and his company.
