Ay Jalisco

While visiting my son and his family in El Paso we decided to order from Ay Jalisco and man was the food fantastic! The food portions were huge. Definitely worth the money. It is a cash only restaurant. The service during pick up of our food was great.

My new spot tastes like home I'm not big on the Texmex if ur a California native this is what you want. it's a hole in the wall but where I come from that's where you find the best Mexican food

If you want some authentic Mexican food this spot is a must!! The menudo on the weekends SOO GOOD

Their al pastor meat is so flavorful and delicious! We had the al pastor in a quesadilla, and it was so yummy! It came with a thinned out guac, a spicy red chili sauce, and salsa. The carne asada burrito was okay but nothing that special. It was supposed to have beans, rice (we omitted), and guacamole, but all I could see and taste was the carne asada. Service was friendly, but I think they overcharged us. We only ordered 2 items but noticed 3 price entries entered to our order. Still reasonably priced, and would come back to try their most-raved menudo.

Stumbled upon this gem Sunday while craving some menudo and wanted to try somewhere new. It's a small place but the food is amazing. The prices are great and the menudo was delicious, very clean and flavorful with a mild spice. Will definitely be returning and will be trying more of their food. The staff was very friendly!

Very nice people. I am a person of habit. I always get super nachos with extra beans. Can't go wrong at all there. I highly recommend it.

First time trying this place. I literally drive past this place, was a bit spektival because of the exterior. But as they say "hole in the wall" places are always the best hidden gems. Review is based on menudo only. Definitely have to go back and try their other plates. Menudo was delicious right amount of seasoning and garlic. Only thing I would say is the beard isn't the mx bolillo bread you usually get with menudo (preference).

The Menudo is Awesome.......It's my Favorite place in Horizon for Menudo.......Quality is always what you get at Ay Jalisco......The Bread they Serve with the menudo is also awesome......

This place is really really good. I don't like Tex mex... so to find a restaurant that is legitimate Mexican food is rare and amazing. This food is on point. And the customer service is family vibes all the way. I'm coming back as much as I can. This food is amazing and tasty, along with their customer service. A hidden and small gem in Horizon City.

Their menudo is off the charts and their enchiladas are also outstanding. I recommend this place strongly
