Asters Cafe and Bakery

A little late on this review, but my family and I were here last week and loved it! It's really such a nice spot to eat. The chicken salad sandwich on rye bread was delish!!! My mom had the chicken salad on greens & my sister enjoyed the chicken jalapeño sandwich as well. I can't remember what flavored sparkling lemonade I had, I think strawberry? Either way, very nice and refreshing!! To end our meal, we had a piece of citrus pie/cake given to us which was such a nice gesture! Staff, location, food, service all 10/10!Will most definitely come back for more next time I'm in town. Thank you again!!

I went right when it opened and there was already a long line queued up. The place is quaint with a few tables inside and many on the courtyard. I needed to pick up to go items so I didn't get hot plated breakfast items. The blueberry scone was delicious as was the everything bagel with cream cheese, cucumber and tomato. The steel cut oatmeal was bland. It was supposed to come with fruit but it only came with lemons. Next time, we'll plan to eat some of the other hot menu items.

Came for a breakfast sandwich that was simple and delicious. My morning sandwich was complemented with a tasteful arugula side salad. The contrast of the egg sandwich and salad complemented the hot cup of coffee. This is a small venue but you can sit inside or outside. The service was helpful and friendly.

A nice little bakery and Cafe across from the courthouse in Marfa. I ordered the Eggs Benedict and coffee. Yes, traditionally Eggs Benedict is on an English muffin but the toast worked as did the salad that came with it.

Is this the most popular breakfast place in Marfa? All I can say is that it's the place that folks always recommend to me. I've been here before and I was here again.It's a tiny place that has an eclectic variety of choices and a cozy little patio. It was a nice start to the day.

Maybe the best scone I've ever had. So fresh and so full of berries. Not too expensive either.

This little gem in Marfa was a big hit for my daughter and I! Conveniently located next to the Lincoln Marfa where we had stayed overnight. We wanted to get a good breakfast in since we were driving back to Dallas that morning. Food was excellent! My daughter loved the prickly pear lemonade and I enjoyed my chocolate coffee. We both loved our breakfast orders. My daughter got a plate of sliced toast, fig jelly, scrambled eggs, and bacon. I got the eggs benedict with bacon and a fresh side salad; Incredible food all around! If you have room, try out their bakery items as well. The chocolate chip cookie was my absolute favorite. You can tell it was made with love. Everyone who worked there was super nice to us and the patio area was lovely. Definitely would go back again when in the area!

Fantastic. We pretty much sampled everything from their bakery. The best oatmeal cookies we've ever had. Their bagels are as good NYC and their breakfast sandwich was excellent. Phoenix hated rasins as much as my husband which made him our favorite person in Marfa. This is a little off the beaten path but well worth it.

Local and freakin outstanding. A real great vibe. Owner is in the middle of it all. Don't miss out.

We loved our breakfast at Asters. I had the pancakes which were fluffy wonders. I order pancakes once every few years because they're usually just a carb bomb. These were perfect a somehow light, fluffy without being too sweet.Bacon was crisp and cooked just right. Coffee was strong and steaming hot. Husband had eggs over medium and they were perfect. Owner? Manager guy at the front was friendly and chatty with great energy.The vibes were really good.
