Unassuming eatery, good tasteimg food. When we went at lunch, there was only one server. I don't know how busy it gets but it was only her and the two cooks behind the counter. She did well to make sure we were taken care of, but she was not challenged.Though there was good variety on the menu, we dropped in for some ramen or other soups. They had a spicy seafood udon, but I ordered the wonton ramen, which came in a a white broth. The noodles were cooked well and had plenty of shrimp wontons I got to try Liz's spicy beef ramen that came in a metal tin. Hot spicy red broth. Plenty of beef, broccoli tips, and cabbage. It was pretty good. Not the best I had, but it came out smoking hot.I also ordered the kimchi fried rice. It was very good and the cook dropped a sesame seed topped fried egg on top. For $9, it was amazing. Plenty enough for two, but it's a meal for one.Plenty of parking in a shared parking lot of Dyer. There's an Asian market next door, but we didn't stop there. I did want to buy some longonisa for the house, but next time I'd come back to try out more food and grab some hard to find groceries, for sure.

The Northeast always has hidden gems! Why have I been sleeping on a place like the Asian Market and Sushi Bar? I thought it was just a vacant store! I've had it bookmarked since I moved here in 2020, but I never found it because it looked like a closed strip mall. I always ended up at Kalbi House across the way instead. Did you know they have amazing lunch specials? Their menu is extensive, featuring not only sushi but also delicious Korean dishes like Kimchi fried rice! It was legit--perfectly cooked with a generous portion. The egg was wonderfully yolky, too! And here's a fun twist: you can grab a huge drink next door! At first, I was confused when the waitress mentioned it, but then I realized it's a mini Asian market! My mind was blown! You wouldn't expect such a tidy little market behind that drab building with odd parking. I honestly thought it was a laundromat or a vape shop! The owner, who was Indian, came out and offered me a sample of Kalbi. It was interesting because I had some Kalbi short ribs from Economy that I wanted them to try, as theirs came from Sam's and the cut wasn't quite right. The marinade was tasty, but they might have gone a bit heavy on the sesame seeds. The meat was a little chewy, likely because it steamed instead of grilling properly. I hope they start using Economy's Kalbi cuts to improve that! The pricing is really fair, and this market is a fantastic choice for anyone looking for affordable and delicious Korean or Chinese food in the Northeast. I'll definitely be back for that Kimchi fried rice! Check them out at 5700 Dyer St, El Paso, TX 79904!

Great fried sushi rolls, huge portions and flavorful! Katsu dish was tasty as well. Store (market) is small but has essentials. They do sell fresh kimchi side dishes in containers.

I have been on a roll (pun intended) over the past two weeks, looking for great sushi. So far, of the five places I have tried, this is the best. The ambiance is a little quirky but hey, I am coming during lunch and am not looking for a date night place. I ordered the tempura roll and it was amazing!!!! First off, it was a large roll- not in length but in width. When sliced, the circles were large, just like in the better, upscale sushi places in major cities. When I tasted it, I was in heaven. It was beautifully fried and the contents of the roll were so tasty. I ordered another to take back to the office so my coworkers could sample, and they were ecstatic. The down side is that everything since pales in comparison!Do not let the location or the street front dissuade you from trying this place.

I can't speak for before but I've been a regular for about a year now and I can honestly say this place has the best Asian food around. The fried rice is fresh and you can tell the veggies are too, it's not the same generic frozen peas and carrots fried rice, and the chicken is always perfect, never chewy. We always get a sushi roll with our order and I haven't had one I don't like yet. The place is half Asian grocery store, half restaurant and you get your drinks from the store. The reason it's 4 starts instead of 5 is because it is definitely over priced. The servings are about half what you get at other Chinese food restaurants and the grocery store has insane markup. I'm sure it used to make sense when Asian stores where a specialty shop but nowadays with Amazon most Asian grocery stores sell at a discount. It's not a deal breaker for me, but this place is on Dyer street, I'm sure not everyone will be pleased with the portion size or the store prices.

The sushi isn't bad and it's a really decent price. So if you are willing to sacrifice good service for that, then this is where you want to go. Checkout their website for specials.

Went here to get groceries and was pleasantly surprised. Clean and spacious restaurant. A little hot but they have a huge fan to accommodate there customers. The sushi was good and the tempura was excellent. The waitress Maria was very nice so I don't know why it had 3 stars? We came on Sunday and there's was only maybe three other tables so that might have made me score this place higher but either way I recommend this place.

Just wanna clarify that I'm rating fairly. The service deserved a four stars, but for the quality instead of saying this is a rip off, I rather say they are kinda stingy. It was our first visit, a friend of mine took me here. We ordered two wonton noodles ($9.99 ea) and a plate of broccoli beef ($8.99 ea). Was expecting some traditional asian food but in fact it really disappointed me. Everything tasted like packed frozen food. The broccoli was kinda undercooked, and the portion reminded me of the army dining facility - they give you like almost half of the serving size. The portion of the noodles wasn't even more than the cup noodles I've been eating this morning. The taste was decent, didn't taste like asain flavor. The market has a lot of imported asain (actually from California) food, snacks and condiments. But they're all like 20% more expensive compare to their retail prices. So... I kinda figured it out why it had no one visiting.Again, i will not come back here again, totally worthless. Visit at your own risk.
