I broke my leg and was sent to Arroyo Medical Supply for a walker. The woman I worked with was very helpful in fitting the walker to me. The next day, I went back to Arroyo Medical Supply with a prescription for platforms to go on the walker. I needed the platforms so that I could put my weight on my forearms rather than on my wrists and hands while using the walker. I have a Chronic Pain Syndrome in my wrists and hands. About four weeks later a young man delivered one platform. I said I needed two and that the prescription was written for two. He was very apologetic and said the situation would be resolved within a couple of days. Several days later I called Arroyo Medical Supply to find out the status of my order. They had not yet received the new platform. There was no apology. I called back immediately and said that an apology would go a long way. The woman I spoke with apologized. Now it's seven weeks since I ordered the platforms. I'm ready to taper off of the walker. I never received the platforms. My wrists and my fingers hurt than usual more from the use of the walker (actually, my fingers have never been involved till now). Luckily, I have not had a full-blown flair of my Chronic Pain Syndrome. Bottom line: Arroyo Medical Supply was not able to supply me with the medical equipment I needed. In the middle of this situation, my husband needed a bed rail. We bought it online rather than going through Arroyo Medical Supply.

I had bilateral knee replacement surgery. I was prescribed a CPM machine for therapy upon discharge. Arroyo Medical Supply was awarded the contract not sure by who.. Hospital, insurance or who... Upon delivery of the machine to my hospital room the technician wanted my 20% deductible paid in full. Mind you, I was still in the hospital with no access to money or credit cards. Upon my arrival at home I was immediately contacted by Arroyo again for payment. I told them to send me a bill. When the time for the machine to be picked up by Arroyo drew near I contacted them 5 days in advance to make arrangement for pickup. I was to begin outpatient Physical Therapy the day the machine was due and I live 20 miles from town . I didn't want a conflict if I was not available when they chose to pick it up. The person who answered the phone basically blew me off. As I feared they did contact me within an hour of when I was to leave and go to PT to try and come to my home and retrieve the machine. I feel they are very unprofessional , unable to listen, understand or communicate with their customers and I will refuse to do business with them in the future. If I could give a negative star rating I would.
