April's K911 Academy

Love April and so does my dog, Sam. She accommodated me last minute and the moment you meet her you know she is an animal lover and your pet will be in great hands. I didn't worry about my dog at all while he was with her and he came home so happy and tired from all of the dog play!April is sweet, takes the time to explain things, and takes the time to correctly introduce your dog to her own pack and the pack she watches.I can't say enough great things about April.

Take whatever expectations you may have for a dog trainer and quadruple them, then you'll know how great April is! Our dog Zeke has been through her puppy/beginner class and the intermediate class as well as countless daycares and overnight stays. Before we met April our dog showed a lot of aggression towards other dogs and sometimes even people. After taking her class we realized this was fear more than anything else and she provided us with the right training and tools to build his confidence. He is a totally different dog thanks to her and I could not recommend her enough! No matter what your dogs "problem" may be I promise April can help. Even if you have an extremely well behaved dog you've got to try taking them to her daycare. We had taken our dog to other daycares in town and nothing compares to how worn out Zeke is after a day at April's. If you have a dog in Las Cruces and haven't met April yet... you're missing out!

Highly recommend April's training classes. She is dedicated to helping dogs and their owners who have special needs for training. I have appreciated how much she has helped my overly fearful, stubborn dog, Zelle. I am seeing a difference in her behavior. Good price too! Worth it!

This review is far overdue! This past summer, we had April help us train two of our dogs--our new puppy and a very reactive and aggressive older dog that we rescued. Let me just say that if you have a dog with any bad habits or issues, you NEED to get training with April. Your dog's issues WILL get fixed if you follow her methods. If you have a puppy that you want to get started right, you NEED to get training with April. She helped us get on the right path with both our dogs right away, and her methods continue to work for us. She is professional, attentive, and responsive to every one of her customer's needs. In fact, we had such a great experience with her that we hope to do additional training with her again as soon as we are able.
