I am so surprised to see negative reviews on this office. I cannot say enough good things about this office, definitely one of the most professional, friendliest and clean Optomatrist office I've been into. The tech was incredibly sweet, thoughtful and made sure to wipe down any and all surfaces I was going to touch. As for the doctor, he was very professional and made sure he had a thorough health history on me, did the exam and explained to me clearly what was going on with my eyes as well as how to get use to my new prescription and made sure I did have time for any questions. They have a wonderful selection of glasses, I look forward to receiving my new glass. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS OFFICE DOCTOR AND STAFF.

After a bad experice at another optometrist Apple Eye Care was a breath of fresh air. The assistant was super understanding, quick, professional and kind to my 6 year old(who was having the exam). Dr. Applebaum was also phenomenal, he explained everything and was really caring to my son. I've recommended anyone I can to come to Apple Eye Care. It is a bit of a drive for us but totally worth it for the care and transparency of the staff.

Still have not received the correct prescription on my glasses..Went in Aug 3...told me it should be ready in a week..not what I asked for..no line bifocals..came back with lined..sent back again..waited again..still wrong..sent out again..now I can't use them at all! Went to 2 other optometrists...told me glasses were not my prescription.. Should have gone with my gut instinct when I walked in..looked around..all the display glasses were dirty with smudged fingerprints..No professional jacket on Dr...Still have $390 pair the f glasses I cannot see with! Not sure what my next step will be? Eat the cost? Go to another optometrist?Call Foxnews? They told me I had exhausted my 3 remakes according to their small print on their contract! Had to pay up front before work was even started!Lesson learned! Have always gone to Sears & never disappointed!

I am new to El Paso and am glad to say I have found a place for eye care. It was easy to make an appointment. The wait when I arrived was minimal; which is important because I expect to be seen at my appointment time. The front desk girl was polite and helpful. The doctor was very detail-oriented when it came to medical history, etc. and seemed genuinely concerned when he discovered I hadn't been taking care of my contact lenses or eyes properly. He explained in full detail the consequences of my decisions; which had previously never been made known to me by any doctor. I trust the health of my eyes to Dr. Applebaum and will continue to come to his office for myself and family. Overall A+ experience.

I had my first and last appointment at the Apple Eye care center this afternoon. I found Dr. Applebaum to be condescending and disrespectful. I expressed my dissatisfaction with his bedside manner and he was dissmisive and unapologetic. If you are a patient who values doctor/patient rapport, I recommend that you visit Dr. Bosetti at the Walmart Vision Center on N. Mesa instead.

Dr Applebaum and his staff were all friendly and very professional. I liked that he informed me of extra cost that was or wasn't covered by my insurance. I have been going to him for years because I know that he is very thorough on his exams. He has always given me my prescription with the option to choose glasses else where. And was available to my husband when he need emergency services.

Dr. Applebaum and his staff are excellent. He found my cataracts and my husband's glaucoma and referred us to the doctors who did my surgeries and the doctor who put my husband on his eye drops to stop the progression of his glaucoma. He is very thorough and I would definitely recommend anyone to go to him.

I am the wife of an active member of the US Army. My glasses broke during my pregnancy, and I went to this establishment for an appointment and a new pair of glasses. I paid for both my glasses and contact prescription examinations. Every time that I went in for an examination or consultation, I had to wait a long time both in the waiting area and in the examination room for the doctor. It is very clear that they overbook and under deliver. When the doctor and owner did finally see me, he was very short with his words, quick to go in and out seeing other patients simultaneously, and not interested in offering apologies for having no respect for your time. If you have an issue, everyone employed at this location treats you as if it is your problem and not theirs. I was also told that my vision could change since I was pregnant, and that they needed to divulge that information before I made a purchase. They let me know that if my vision changed, I would have to come back in for another examination and a new pair of glasses. I went through the process and purchased some glasses, But I had to cancel my follow up with my complimentary pair of single wear contacts contacts due to a complication with my pregnancy followed by the US Army moving us to Georgia on very short notice. When I contacted this office from Georgia in order to obtain my prescriptions after having my baby without my vision changing, I was only sent my glasses prescription by snail mail. They do not fax or email you your prescription directly. Is it 2020? Isn't it less expensive to email and avoid shipping? Clearly, customer service is not there number one priority. I was unable to obtain my contact prescription, and was told that it was because I did not come to my 10 minute follow up for my contacts. Although I paid in my contact examination fee already for this follow up, they refused to give me my contact prescription causing me to have to pay for an entirely new examination even though my prescription is still in date in valid. They once again told me that this was fully explained to me by the doctor, which it was not, and that they were not willing to do anything to help me.I have been wearing glasses since the second grade, and have been wearing contacts since the sixth grade. As you can imagine, I have seen many optometrists throughout my years. I am currently 37 years old, and I have never been treated so poorly. Oh, and did I mention that three weeks after my $250 glasses were purchased/ taken home, the earpiece started continuously sliding out. Because of the complications in my pregnancy and our fast move to Georgia, I was unable to take them in to have them fixed. When I brought this up, I was transferred to the Technician that sold me the glasses. His advice was that I superglue them myself or bring them in if I was ever in the area again. This was especially confusing to me as they clearly have no issues mailing things. I was shocked that the offer to mail them in and have them fixed was never even on the table. In summation, this business wants your money but does not care anything about your overall service experience or satisfaction. They are dismissive and rude when you voice any sort of question or complaint. They clearly operate like a turn and burn restaurant as opposed to a fine dining one. They are more interested in quantity, and they are less interested in giving quality service. For your money, I would take your business elsewhere.

I called to schedule eye appointments for myself and two of my kids. They were able to get us in that afternoon. We were very happy with the courtesy and attentiveness of the receptionist/tech. Dr. Applebaum seemed very thorough and knowledgeable. It took 2 hours to get three of us through, but there was not wasted time. Glad to have found an eye doctor to settle with.
