1 star (and that's generous)AVOID AT ALL COSTS! Dr. Johnson's practice is the epitome of everything wrong with modern healthcare. My 3:00 PM appointment turned into a 90-minute nightmare of incompetence and disrespect. Here's what you can expect:- Forced through an assembly line of untrained technicians who can't operate basic equipment- Multiple failed attempts at simple tests, with broken machines- Endless waiting in hallways between each botched procedure- Redundant tests because staff don't communicate- A pompous doctor who arrives 90 minutes late and has the audacity to blame YOU for not asking how long it would takeWhen I dared to question the ridiculous wait time, Dr. Johnson responded with contempt and arrogance that would make a dictator blush. Instead of apologizing, he lectured me about how I should have known better.Pro tip: Save your time and dignity. Go literally anywhere else. This place operates like a DMV run by monkeys, except with your eyesight at stake.Bottom line: Unless you enjoy wasting your afternoon being treated like cattle by incompetent staff and an arrogant doctor, STAY AWAY.

I recently was assigned this clinic for a work related hiring process. The exam was okay, I felt they could have communicated with each other better. The tech and the Doctor both repeated the same exam. The also gave me a prescription for glasses, and I was there for a job hiring process exam.

I am a disabled Native American Trans woman. I recently went into this doctor's office to get an eye exam. I was told that in order to get an eye exam that I would need to have my eyes dialated. I explained that because of my Medically Diagnosed PTSD, that the dilation of my eyes would bother my disability. I asked for the Americans with Disability Act Accommodation of getting the exam without the dilation, his employee said no. They had their reasoning. I then asked that if I could make a phone call from my phone myself to my Healthcare Coordinator to see if there was any way to work around it, their staff member then denied me the accommodation to call my own healthcare coordinator. She then went to the front of the office to get the woman that oversee's the staff to more assertively tell me and deny my right to call my healthcare coordinator that oversee's my case as a Disabled Person. I moved forward with the exam, my mother had to pay out of pocket for my exam. The doctor had made me feel comfortable during the visit, however, in making a complaint to his staff member Jennifer - even the way I feel about the doctor has changed. Jennifer was very argumentative & was doing everything she could do to defend the behavior of Andrew Johnson's staff. She kept trying to reframe what happened in the situation & I made it clear that my biggest concern was the staff members telling me that I couldn't make a phone call to my healthcare coordinator. Jennifer agreed to give me the refund with the condition that I never returned as a patient. She said it is the doctor's policy to not ever see a patient again after making a refund. I am getting a refund but now as a consequence for speaking up when I was wronged as a disabled person and their staff not being trained enough to a good standard in which they uphold the federal law ADA and they treated me horribly as a disabled person with multiple disabilities. If you are a Native American, Trans & or disabled - I do not recommend this doctor, this was my experience.

Dr. Johnson is great but the staff is pretty much incompetent. I called 3x over the span of 2 months just to have my prescription mailed to me. Each time, I was told that they are sorry and that it will be mailed out today and each time, I had to call back to get it done. Eventually, I had to come in person to pick it up because it never got mailed out, even after 3x. Then when I called the office to make sure the prescription was written down correctly, the staff didn't know how to even read the prescription because she was confused the whole time. Will not come back and will not recommend this to anyone. What a headache.

I've been coming to this office for five years and always had a great experience with Dr. Johnson and the front desk. Recently, I moved and still drove 45 mins to see him for any sort of eye vision problems. Up until today, I never received such rude, inconsiderate service from the receptionist. I called a month ago to confirm my new contact prescription and never received a call. When I called back to cancel an appointment I asked about this confirmation and Kristen or Crystal decided to give me attitude and tell me a received a voicemail which I clearly didn't because I checked it while on the phone. I asked for it to be emailed or sent to me and that seemed like a hard problem for her too. Hopefully, they can train their front desk receptionist to be nicer and not have so much attitude to their customers.

I didn't have an appointment! Yet I waited over 2 hours!! Over 40 minutes to see the Dr. ?? That's when I decided to leave?? Will not return. You don't save enough money to be treated this way.. The front desk staff where good ! They did explain that I had 3 people in front of me, I just wish they gave me the option to come back an hour later ??

This last year has been the worst with Dr. Johnson office STAFF. It began in March my daughter and I had an appointment apparently the doctor was running 2 hours behind and the staff failed to mention or inform me. I had 2 other children I had to pick up. our appointment was at 2 we arrived at 1:45 we had to end up leaving at 4:30 we had our eyes dilated and were waiting until I couldn't wait any longer. I told them that I could not stay because my children were at daycare and I needed to go the staff was very rude when I asked for an excuse note due to taking my child out of school what was said "because you were not seen we can not write you a note." I left them know I would be calling our Case worker and immediately when that was mentioned and I was on the phone the office then provided an excuse note. I scheduled a follow up exam at which time I asked if our eyes would have to be dilated again the STAFF member said no! we had already be dilated so they would just finish the exam. That staff said she apologize under standing my situation as a mom and that they should have relayed information and gave me the option to reschedule before I took of work she was so sincere than most of the staff. So fast forward to today. We had a confirmation call for our appointment tomorrow I had said yes . However I let him know the situation we had and what the STAFF told me I just wanted to confirm it was true . At which time he began having an attitude, when I called him on it and said I didn't appreciate it he said that it's a medical office what do you expect and went on and on it was a lot very rude and I have documented that call so I asked for his title and name he again once more asked if we would be attending I said yes we will be there and I would be calling the office of the better business bureau on him. Later this evening. I have gotten a call saying the office is dropping us because I'm dissatisfied with the doctors care. However again that is untrue I'm dissatisfied with the STAFF and clearly there is lack of training. I will be going further with this complaint however I feel it's necessary that everyone should know this is how there office operates instead of holding the staff accountable for the way the talk to clients they disrespect us and look at us as a pay day NO you need to treat us with respect and value our time as we value your and show up to our appointments early and on time. The gentleman who was rude his name is Luis Lucero and the office manager who dropped us is Carla

I have seen Dr Johnson twice. Have received a reminder call when I was in the hospital. I said I would call for an appointment when I got out of the hospital. Unfortunately, calls haven't been answered until today. The office has lost my file. I give up. I'm going back to Dr Filmore.

I had an appointment end of June this year and when the lady call to confirm my appointment she was extremely unprofessional and said do you want it or not. At the time I was scrolling through my calendar to make sure I hadn't double booked myself with my other doctor. She was in such a hurry to confirm and didn't even give me a chance to explain. When I went to my appointment and checked in she was rude again and I know I've got the same lady because I recognized her voice. I explained to her that she was rude to me on the phone as well I asked her for her name and she said there was no need for me to know her name I then asked for a manager and she said I am the manager. When she walked away I asked the other girl next to her if she was the manager and the other girl said no her name is Christina our manager is Michelle. During my appointment I was taken back and forth in and out of the lobby a few times there was so much confusion they took me out of a room twice to put me in another room when the girl took me to the first room there was already people in the room. People are all scatterbrained and unorganized. The manager there is a complete joke I sat in the front office long enough to see how she speaks to her employees she belittles them and she thinks she is entitled and above. I heard her talking about another girl she had just scolded with another employee and they were laughing as if it was funny to be bullying the other girl and then still make fun of her. This is not proper management behavior! I will never return to this office again it is absolutely disgusting! I will definitely not recommend this place either as my prescription was way off! What an incompetent sorry excuse of a so called humans. Rude and ignorant staff. Dilated my pupils without my consent, just dropped eyedrops in. Made my vision extra blurry due to me closing my eye from not knowing I was getting drops(makeup in eye). Then Andrew had the audacity to tell me my vision was blurry due to my mask. Rushed me though the exam/questions and gave vague responses for my concerns. All my fears were proven correctly when he gave me an incorrect prescription. Was way too strong. Looked up policy, stated a satisfaction guarantee. False. Scammers, they want your money no matter what. Went back for a refund. Then was refused to be given a refund when I stated I was extremely unsatisfied and was not given the proper prescription. Then was told I could go elsewhere if I wanted because my insurance covers another examination. Meaning, "we still scammed you of insurance money, we still get paid, we don't care."
