Whats a Mexican hot dog? Well, its not a Chihuahua standing in the sun! This is unlike any hot dog youve ever had. We start with a grilled, bacon-wrapped all-beef frank, serve it in a specially baked bun, and then top it with pinto beans, grilled onions, diced onions and tomatoes, plus jalapeno mayonnaise, mustard, ketchup, jalapeno salsa.

Passing thru and stopped Mesilla for some quick sight seeing and grabbed lunch here. Food was outstanding, service was great and we loved the atmosphere here. Hot dogs, enchiladas, and street tacos were very good. My oldest son got the biggest burrito I think I have ever seen. Fantastic place, we would highly recommend it.Thank you staff for the great food and friendly service!

We got into Las Cruces too late to eat at the Andele flagship restaurant, but the Dog House wasn't disappointing at all! A lot of people seemed to be waiting to be seated at the porch area but the wait was only five minutes for my cousin and I. Walking inside, all tables were full and and there was much lively chatter for a Monday evening. My go-to at any Mexican spot is a wet burrito, but the burritos here apparently don't come with any filling extras like lettuce, beans, etc. (i.e., the carne adovada burrito would just be meat in sauce inside a tortilla), so I decided to stray from the usual plan and go for the carne adovada plate instead.My cousin and I both appreciated the self-serve unlimited chips and salsa bar greatly, my favorite salsa was the traditional followed by the chipotle. I am usually a fan of chile de arbol salsa the way they make it in Northern California but the one here was actually spicy and not anything like what I am used to, and the chile verde was quite unique as well.Service was quick and friendly, the food took maybe a bit longer than what I would usually expect at a Mexican restaurant but waiting is no issue if you decide to go for chips and salsa. The ladies restroom was well-maintained.Upon receiving my carne adovada plate, I was not a fan of the carne adovada itself. I was expecting something like carnitas based on the description, but just so the non-locals are aware the carne adovada is smoky and dry so not running with juices at all. I believe it's more of an acquired taste, so I ended up swapping plates with my cousin who got the number 3 plate. I opted for the baked potato instead of rice and beans, and I thoroughly enjoyed the flavor of that. I'm really glad we decided to stop here instead of at fast food.

This place is where you bring your out of town family and friends to for good new mexican food. Hands down. As a vegetarian this place is a great in that both thier green and red chile is vegetarian friendly (green is not vegan as it has cheese). We confirmed with the cook who told me directly both are vegetarian friendly, so dont listen to the rumors out there. They also are great for the gluten free folks too, from what my friend (has an intolerance) reports. All in all this place is great all year round! Love those place!

Andele's dog house was awesome! Food was delicious and portions were huge. I had the enchiladas and my partner had the tacos. Nice salsa and chip bar (chips were warm). Service was excellent and all of the waitresses were busy. They were never just standing around. We will be back!

In town for a few nights and was recommended this place by some former NMSU students. Really nice patio are and the service was great. Enjoyed the free salsa bar which offered several great styles of salsa. I got the green chili chicken enchiladas with a fried egg which were really good. Only down fall was the rice seemed to be old and crunchy. But overall I enjoyed my dinner and will absolutely come back.

Been to NM a handful of times and I'm not sure how I ever missed stopping here! This will be a FAV spot to visit from here on out! Service is super friendly and competent. Restaurant is very comfortable and clean. There's seating inside and out. Their outdoor patio area is great! Heaters for chilly days/nights. Food was amazing! They have "help yourself" warm tortilla chips and salsa bar! I ordered their red chili posole and it was perfectly flavorful and spicy! Hubby ordered a green chile omelette and he loved it! I took a bite and also loved them! Beans and potatoes are also delicious! This restaurant is solid!!

Stopped in for lunch on our drive back to Arizona. Glad we stumbled upon this cool place. No wait even though it was packed as they had ample seating. Local favorite spot. We each ordered different items and none of our dishes disappointed! Food was tasty and plentiful. Next time we are here we will definitely be back to try other dishes.
