I get my hair cut only maybe 100 yards from this place and my hair stylist told me she's been coming here for years and loves the place. So I tried it yesterday for lunch for the very first time.SO glad I did! Very tasty dish, great atmosphere including a live mariachi band, and very reasonably priced. I had Plato Mexicano: One beef taco, one cheese enchilada, one chili relleno, rice and beans. It was outstanding! Loved the sauce, loved the flavor. To start, they brought me two kinds of salsa with my chips, and both salsas were also outstanding. PLENTY of food, even for a huge man like myself, and for $15.99. The "jamaica" agua fresca non-alcoholic drink was great too and came with free refills. Only negative I could think of was that the beef taco was made with ground beef instead of shredded beef, but that was not enough for me to detract from a 5 star rating. I'll be back soon!Tip for first timers: The easiest way to get here is to enter on Viscount which faces the rear of the restaurant and intersects with Gateway Blvd West.

We were in town for business one day. I wanted some really good Mexican food, even though we live in Fort Worth. I thought it might be more authentic being closer to the border. The inside is really cool. It takes you to Mexico. Our waitress was nice and right on her game. Unfortunately that's the highlights. Oh, the chips are fresh and the salsas good. I ordered the large margarita and even though it was tasty, they definitely do a light pour in the tequila. Never felt a thing. I chose a combination plate that came with a chile relleno, taco and enchilada. The food came out so fast I knew it was premade. Sorry but it tastes the same. Very bland and nothing great at all. Pretty much cafeteria style and mass produced.

This place is a party inside so be prepared for LOUD MUSIC AND LOUD PEOPLE!!! They always have entertainment on stage and it's always someone's birthday. I always come when my friend is in town because she loves the queso fundido con chorizo. The margaritas are so good but they don't have pitchers :/ ... maybe that's a good thing for my safety. Ok so the flautas and fajitas are so good!!! I'm not a fan of the rice but is because it was dry. The salsa they have is so good and if you want hotter just ask them for the hot red one and they'll bring it out. I've written a few reviews on this place and my experience hasn't changed ... I enjoy the atmosphere and food here so I'll be back again:) enjoy my pics :)

Alot of people recommended trying this place out for some good Mexican. I must say they aren't wrong. Along with some great food they have a large selection of drinks. I got the grande margarita, strawberry as recommended from the bartender. Only cost $24 and i couldn't finish it all because it definitely is for 2 people minimum but momma ain't raise no punk so i took myShot at it. Definitely recommend giving this spot a try and during the day because at night i heard it gets very packed

I was in town for business. The hotel clerk suggested this place as you have to have authentic Mexican food while in El Paso. The recommendation was great. We had fast service and the server was very polite and knowledgeable. I had the Plato Mexicano and it was delicious. The chile rellano was very good and there was plenty of food. The chips and salsa weee awesome. The salsas were very delicious and our group went through two bowls of chips. The ambiance was great.... Music playing and the birthday singing. It's decorated with sombreros and other Hispanic decor. If you're in town looking for some Mexican food definitely check this place out!!

Andale was recommended by some locals in El Paso for Mexican food, so I gave it a try. I went on a Saturday and they had live music, a singer in the bar and a mariachi band in the main dining area. If you go on a Saturday with the mariachi band playing, then be prepared for the music to be very loud. I like a good Caldo de Res, so I was looking forward to it. I took a sip of the broth and it tasted more like celery, and upon further examining the vegetables in my soup, there was a lot of celery. The beef was tender, though the soup could have used more pieces of meat. The Mexican rice served on the side was flavorful. I asked the server if they had any homemade tortillas, and he said they normally do, but they didn't have any the night I went. He said personally their homemade tortillas aren't his favorite cause they are made more on the thicker side. So I opted for store bought corn tortillas, which were warmed nicely. The chips and salsa they serve for free is amazing. Their salsas are fresh, great flavor, and have a good kick on the spiciness!Next time I'm in El Paso, I'll probably order something different and not go on a Saturday!

We have eaten here the last two times we have visited El Paso. Their hours are a little odd (to us) but the food is incredible. Sorry I don't have pictures, but we really enjoyed everything that was ordered. Don't skip the complementary salsa - it is outstanding! The shrimp ceviche is out of this world. The only CON is that each time I've visited, the ladies room has been out of soap.

The wait staff is very nice!!! I like the carnitas, tripitas and tacos but the enchilada sauce does need some major improvement as it kinda taste like canned sauce.
