Amigo's Mexican Food

I haven't been here in a while, I guess the management has changed and so has the food and not for the better Totally disappointed! The roll tacos look like they came from Sam's club, the Gorditos greasy and soggy, and my all-time favorite tamales were marginal at best.

Best prices for party sized trays. Food tastes great. Moved to Las Cruces and still order food from here for events. Worth the 1 hour drive.

Got frozen chili rellano's and cant wait to try them. Heard wonderful things about this place. Prices shown on pictures is wrong.

This place has the worst Mexican food in town. Avoid eating here at all costs. The food was soo salty! It even left a metallic taste in my mouth. I was scared to even finish eating it. Ordered over $30+ in food which was all terrible nobody in my family ate it. The cashier was friendly but made food with gloves on and came to front cashed me out, went back to finish food with the same gloves on. I should have seen the signs this would be terrible. Never ever will I waste money on this place again!! I'm trying to save you. Don't eat here if you want authentic Mexican food.

i have purchased food from here for years. I purchased a meat Tostada plate #10, Put it in refrigerator and opened the next day. It was bean. Called and a very rude woman refused to do anything about a $4 purchase and hung up on me when I challenged her. One of the issues is many of their employees do not speak fluent English but should understand a #10. They lost a regular customer over not standing behind a $4 order. My total order was about $18. Arrogant rude customer service. Lots of Mexican restaurants here without the rude customer service. Because of her arrogance they lost a regular customer that has spent a lot in each year. Carry out only.

Amigo's is decent take-out. My absolute favorite is the rolled tacos, and I usually get a tub of the salsa con queso to dip them in. The tamales are pretty good, and the enchiladas are passable. Nothing fancy here, just good basic take home Mexican food.

Early morning lady can't remember What's in their own breakfast burritos or even remember seconds after I order...Got a combination plate later in the day and the plate itself felt so light, The food all together looked dullTortas don't taste as good as they used to be, seems as though they went a cheaper route on the ingredientsSomething changed, And I don't like it

There's a few things I wouldn't get here (tamales) but the burritos and the burrito plates are awesome. The red enchiladas are good sometimes, but sometimes they are made with the red powder or something. The portions are large, the beans and rice are delicious if you get the plate. I love the place and wish they were open weekends! I was last there about two weeks ago.

.....I ordered 4 tacos, 2 chili rellenos 1 green tamale and 1 red tamale and 1 tostada.. when food came out and it was 2 dozen tamales i said didnt order 2 dozen tamales I ordered 2 tamales Girl said too bad i already took your money and we have no manager and a no refund policy I said please this isnt right...your stealing i ordered 2 tamales not 2 dozen...i said if you wont give me a refund I'll call the police and the officer said take them to court...its a civil matter....never ever again will i eat from there.....they have a license to steal ...and no ethics....new owners are terrible..sad to see this place went so downhill...520 339 2404....josh ghiotto
