Amigo

Long wait for food but we came in right as it opened. Can't ever go wrong with a cheeseburger. Honestly though the fries were so good and salty. Wings were not necessarily bad it flavor but not super crispy. Kids Mac n cheese was a very tiny bowl for $6 bucks. This was one of the only places open on a Sunday. Not a bad stop for a drink and some nosh. Prices were average.

We went to Renata but it was closed. So this restaurant was right there and open. As soon as we entered, I wondered if it was a mistake. It was dusty and mostly empty in a very large dining area. The bar was in the next room. No one greeted us when we entered so we seated ourselves. After about 10 to 15 minutes later a young man came over and took our drink order. When he brought back the drinks, we weren't ready to order and he e never came back! While we were waiting, he brought out some other people's food and they said it was "refrigerator cold," and "no good,". We paid for our drinks and left...

Amigo is great! Solid food, service and ambiance. We ordered:PretzelGuac/chipsCowboy caviarChicken Greek saladChicken quesadilla Everything came out warm and quickly. Really impressed with the attention from the wait staff here. We came to Amigo during Open Mic which was entertaining to listen/watch. Really impressed with how many musicians showed up. Great times at Amigo!

Was starving on a Saturday afternoon and had limited options in Alpine. While walking down the street we detected the aroma of sizzling ground beef and headed in...The burgers were really good, and the fries were above average. The chips were nothing special, and the salsa, guacamole, and queso were pretty standard.I have to say the service was really slow. Other reviewers' complaints about the wait times are not exaggerations. We waited at least 40 minutes for our food, and even though there were plenty of staff, they rarely checked in on us.This is definitely more of a dive bar that sells food, rather than a restaurant that serves booze. I wouldn't steer you away from here, just know what you are in for...

Great food drinks and staff shrimp tacos were top notch. And the mystery cocktail was desert in a glass

Service was horrible.. food was cold.. server didn't try to give us warm rice.. ordered the green chili burger and didn't have any chili .. it was just awful first experience here.. should've just gone to sonic!

Nice menu with many selections. Got live music as well. Staffs are friendly and helpful. A nice place for friends gathering or a quick meal.

Possibly best burger of my life. I ordered the Heritage Burger and each and every bite was like a sliver of heaven in my mouth. The burger buns really tied the whole burger together for me. Staff were very friendly and I would even say they went above and beyond for my group! Really cool vibe at this place, I would definitely recommend giving it a shot!

The service was extremely slow never even got a refill on my drink. A McDonald's filet o fish is better than their fish and chips and probably fresher. Had better chicken tenders in the school cafeteria.

The food was delicious but what was even better was the service!!! Eero was so attentive and friendly to our group and was a great introduction to the great city of Alpine. Love it here!
