I am so sad that I have to have to right this review but I feel I must tell my story about Ameri-Tech appliances in El Paso Texas must be told. My refrigerator from whirlpool broke on a Saturday afternoon and I was not able to call Whirlpool till Monday morning. Once I was able to get a hold of somebody, they sent a technician out from Ameritech appliances and it took them five days to even come to our house to tell us in 5 minutes that a part was broken! Then it took them almost 3 weeks to re-order the part and come back to fix the fridge. Sadly after the technician was here for over two hours the fridge is now vibrating like crazy and the technician was not able to install all the pieces back so my brand new fridge looks horrible on the back!! I cannot believe this about this company. I have not been without a refrigerator for over four weeks because of this company. Absolutely horrible please stay away from Ameri-Tech Appliances, never give them a call, you will absolutely 100% regret it!!!!

These guys must be doing some type of fraud with the stupid warranty companies. All they say is disconnect your refrigerator, let it defrost, and it should work once you connect it again lol. That's not fixing the problem, who wants to be defrosting a new refrigerator every few months. Who knows how much they charge the warranty companies for that bs service lol. They are absolutely lazy, try to do less than the minimum, and you have to call them nonstop as they don't keep their word when they say they'll call you back. They are a joke and at this point all I can do is laugh at how unbelievable it is, like a comedy on tv!

Since mid April I have been trying to get a wine refrigerator fixed. Numerous times the technician came out. Every time I have been told that he would call me just for me having to call them at the head office to figure out what the progress was. I found them incompetent and unreliable and would under no circumstances recommend them to anyone else. When I finally had enough, they refunded me everything but the service charge which makes me even more unsatisfied in retrospect. What flipping service did they actually provide other than drive out several times, me having to take off from work and still not fixing a thing?Luckily, there is Sobella's - reliable and competent.

John (owner) and his employee Oscar came out to repair my commercial ice maker that had not worked in 2 yr. Honestly, I had given up on it working. But John came first to diagnose the issue and said he would be back with a employee because he had to get under house where the ice maker was draining to clear the drain lines..and he needed a second person to help...the drain pipe was clogged extensively and the drain hose from the machine was clogged. They both were patient..came and evaluated what they needed...then left to get more supplies and returned after 5p with the new supplies and stayed til 8p to finish. I even called him around 5 and asked if he was sure he still wanted to come and return to finish with it being so late...he confirmed he was close to the house and on his way at 515 to finish. He and Oscar returned and made a comment thats what flash lights are for if it got later. He and Oscar were professional, happy to find the problem even with it being after hours. Honestly they both were amazing. Oscar got the machine Manitowoc hooked up while John was under house securing the drain. Never during this after hrs repair that either complained about it being late. They stayed energetic, happy and expressed thanks for the opportunity to fix the machine. Since it would take all weekend to see how it performed. .John even offered to return monday to check machine if it was not working correctly. Fortunately...it started right up and draining properly. Thanks to John's evaluation that it was never the machine but the draining system. Oscar also replaced the power panel (that needed to be changed) . He was so efficient as well. To add. In the past John has repaired my Viking refrigerator when no one else would bother because it was complicated to repair. If you are looking for an excellent Appliance repair company--we recommend Amer-Tech, owner John and his employees to assess and repair your appliance. They are honest and reasonable in their repair charge. I was actually somewhat concerned over what the final bill was going to be to consider they were here after hours up to 8 and include the previous trip in to evaluate the machine and set up a plan for repair. Their bill was more than reasonable. I recommend this company if you are looking for a company whom cares about getting the repair right the first time, as well as , showing concern for the customer with satisfaction guaranteed. The worst in the City of El Paso or the Southwest. John the owner is a straight up liar, and is not a man of his word. I had no choice but to go with this company ( John Wagner jr.) .My warranty company send me to these clowns that cannot fix a freezer and broke my freezer drawer. John stated he would replace my broken drawer but he couldn't fix the freezer and went back on his word on replacement of the drawer. A warning to the southwest. STAY AWAY FROM THESE LOOSERS!

The WORST company in alllllll of El Paso!!! Incredibly RUDE to my wife - inappropriate. They nickel and dime you, charge you for everything... And then break your appliances and then tell you that they're going to charge you to fix them. And then if you dare talk to the boss he is equally worthless. The worst customer service we have encountered in El Paso.

Horrible service! Inconsiderate to their customers and HIGHLY UNPROFESSIONAL! DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY!Was referred to this company by Lowes. Originally called April 17th to set an appointment to look at our dryer and it seemed like it'd go fine, though the tech who called never gave his name or the company he worked with, which was a little odd. On April 24th the tech came out to look at the dryer and gave the diagnosis. He also said he would order the part that day and have it in and ready to install early next week. We called the day before to ensure that the part was in and ready to install the next day since we had not heard anything since that day. The tech who came out informed us that he had, in fact, not ordered the part like he said he would and, once again, said he'd order the part that day. We gave them the week to get the part in and then called to see where they were at. They refused to answer the call so we got Lowes involved. Since then we had to go through Lowes to get any answer from Ameritech. They kept telling Lowes that the part wasn't in and kept pushing the installation date back. At this point we have gone 3 weeks without a working dryer in a house of 4 people! FINALLY we got a call from Ameritech on the 10th of May to come install it. The whole time the tech was unphased by our frustration and laughed the ridiculous amount of time it took to get the part. According to the tech, his boss, John Wagner, waits until he has several part orders before ordering parts to save money on shipping!From the lack of knowledge of the tech to the uncaring attitude of the boss, this company is a joke!

TERRIBLE CUSTOMER RELATIONS!!!VERY RUDE!!!Had a service call made thru my Lowe's extended warranty for a washer. Tech came and and accessed that I needed part that had to be ordered. This company never kept in contact about when the part was expected to come in so I called to inquire and the owner, John, said they had the part so they would go install it. I asked since when have they had the part and his response was,"what does it matter, we got it now so can go install it." I said,"well I don't really appreciate your tone." He responded, " well, I guess I can just return it and you can look for someone else."
