Excellent Food, seriously some of the most unique flavors i've had.If you want something light and fresh go for the tacos on their handmade corn tortillas, (btw is very impressive) or if you want something that is more dense and rich go for the empanadas. Or if you're a real glutton, go for both like me. Either way you will not be disappointed Service 10/10atmosphere is incredible as well, i'll be back

The service was poor. It took 30 min to get water and over an hour to get all the drinks ordered. Between the first entree served and the last entree served it took 45 to an hour. Three of us were finished eating before the last person was even served. They made 2 items twice (one drink and one entree) but completely forgot another's food. Oh and we were charged 2x for one item...Waiter was not good and it seems the kitchen was unorganized. Food great. Good value. Service was so bad it was a train wreck we will not forget. So at least we have stories.

The food was amazing but unfortunately I have to knock off a star for service. Our server was out of site for extended periods of time, rude and felt impatient that we were leisurely dining and conversing. We shared a number of small plates and felt she was pressuring us to order entrees when we really just don't dine like that. We ordered the jailea, ceviche, taillarin saltado, empanadas and the tres leches maracuya. To drink we also had chicha morada, pisco sour and amor en Miraflores. Id recommend everything we ordered but I really hope management takes notice that their team needs serious attitude and hospitality support ASAP.

This place is going on our tried & loved list! From the ambiance, to the food & down to the service. We didn't have a reservation but were able to be seated outdoors and glad we did because it was quite serene. The food was absolutely delicious and my tenderloin was cooked to perfection. The bone marrow was so flavorful, I just wished there was more of it. I also had the Brazilian lemonade which I forgot to get a picture of but it was so refreshing. We closed it off with the affogato desert and did not regret it! It's a must. Will definitely be dining here again!

I visited Amar on a Sunday immediately after they opened. I thought it would be jam-packed, but we were the only table for a while, and I am grateful for their customer service. Amar is a beautiful decor restaurant on Mesa Street; I had heard fantastic things about it but was impressed with their food's taste and authenticity. Delicious! I ordered fire-grilled elotes for appetizers, and the taste was terrific. I ordered the shrimp soup and a colossal serving, which was exactly what I was looking forward to. I am grateful for business owners and staff who take pride in their jobs; it shows. Thank you, Amar.I am looking forward to coming back.

We dropped in to see what this place offered. It did not disappoint. We showed up and were offered indoor or outdoor seating, we stayed indoors, but outside would have been fine since it was after sunset. We ordered some soft drinks, and a combination of appetizers and entrees. The shrimp empanadas were amazing. They had the right balance cheese, and were not skimpy with the shrimp. Noah tried the ribeye tacos and we had split the lomo saltado plate. The beef in both were seasoned well and cooked appropriately - nice and tender. The portions were not too big either, just enough to want more.Max was helpful in choosing the dishes for our group. The service was pretty good. The table asked if there was anything to be done there for a birthday and their server brought a Explosion de Amor, and some sparklers, an acapela feliz cumpleanos, and voila. The mood in the room was pretty chill, it wasn't too fancy, but it could be a great date night place. They have both indoor and outdoor seating. If you have a large party, they had space for that too. They have a full bar, and I missed the opportunity to try a pisco sour, or a caipirinha. Next time.

I was driving through El Paso and we decided to stop here for lunch. This is such a cute spot. I loved the decor and vibe, it all seemed very well thought and put together. The service was staff was attentive and polite. The food was good. We ordered a jalea mixta and papá ala huancaina. The seafood and the sauces provided were delicious. The papa a la huancaina was okay, not as authentic but it was good. Overall it was a great experience. I would come back and try more, thank you Amar!

Probably one of the best meals I've had in El Paso since moving here a couple of years ago. The shrimp empanadas were so good after I finished my order I asked for another order of them. The Elote was amazing. Service was fast. My friends enjoyed their meals too. And the Amor en Miraflores drink was so well balanced (pictured). The seating area we were in was a little tight, but otherwise awesome.
