CUTE, COMFY, SIMPLE AND NO COMPLAINTS(Warning: Young adults from Central Florida in for a vacation) Our original plans had to change last minute and thankfully AGL accommodated us within a few hours. It was super convenient- we never even had to face any staff. Our keys were waiting for us at the door (Yes, that's pretty trusting but the location is also a bit hidden as we had to walk down a clean alley to get there)SIMPLE ACCOMMODATIONSHuge plus for having local Coffee at the counter as well as a microwave, mini fridge, and wifi. Also a collection of small snacks for the taking. A simple, sheer curtain divided the living room from the bedroom but also added an elegant feel to the minimalist appearance. Everything was clean and perfect for our stay. AND RATHER SPACIOUSIt never felt cramped inside. That sheer curtain also works great, space miracles. We also liked how right outside the door was a small, vegetation-filled courtyard. It was a bit too chilly for us to take advantage of but it mentally made us feel very relaxed upon entering.

I booked this place through airbnb and had absolutely no issues until after the stay. This place is clean and great for the price. They provide snacks, WiFi and a great binder with information. The location is convient to pretty much everything in Alpine ( a lot within walking distance). However, I was extremely dissapointed and annoyed when I received my review back from the Guest Lofts. We came to Alpine to celebrate me turning 21. Im not a big drinker and therefore wanted to travel for my bday.I think my group and I were stereotyped and therefore received a negative review. Apparently we kept a family and their kids up all night long... First off we were on the outside which meant there was only one loft next to us. The first night we stayed there we had just drove 7 hours and didn't stay up past 10. The next morning when we woke up the only people in the loft next to us were one of the ladies that runs the guest lofts cleaning. We were told In the review we were too loud and didn't follow the rules. There is no possible way we kept anyone up all night long. We never stayed up past 12 and didn't wake up until 9. I didn't even finish a four pack of beer and one of the people in my group was sick. The only "kids" I saw were two preteens throwing knives at stuff in the courtyard. I take it Guest Lofts are not a fan of young adults. I think they could have handled the situation better and maybe talked to us in person or let us know there was supposedly someone staying next to us.

We love staying at these lofts! Check-in is super easy and the hosts are easy going and super dog friendly. Couldn't be happier. We love the little courtyard and have dinner there at least once during our trip.

Just simply outstanding. Very very happy with this choice. Thank you.I have been here for almost 4 days. This place has been very comfortable and convenient for me to ride around in town on my bicycle and drink coffee and eat Mexican food and take road trips to Fort Davis, Marfa, Balmorhea, Terlingua, and Presidio. Big Bend National Park keep your tomorrow. Gonna make the best of my remaining time. This has been so cool. I will bring my wife next time.

We originally booked a room at the Alpine Guest Lofts for a four night stay, but we couldn't bear to leave, so we stayed a couple extra nights! The Alpine Guest Lofts proclaim on their website: "These lofts are the best kept secret in Texas," and they really are. We were given an upgrade to Loft 1 and a great discount on a muti-night stay, making it about the same cost as the chain motels we were staying in on our drive down. We were so surprised by the size of the room and how nicely it was decorated- a pleasing blend of tasteful elegance with a hint of Texas kitsch , (but in a small enough dose to make it homey.) We had a full kitchen, including a dishwasher, hot tub, living room, bedroom, basically an apartment. One of our local friends dropped by for a visit and exclaimed "I feel like I'm in a loft in Chicago!"Also included were complimentary extras such as Pellegrino products in the full size fridge and a basket of muffins, cookies and fruit, and an assortment of teas. The Alpine Guest Lofts are right downtown, tucked in an alley away from traffic noises. Within walking distance are local favorites like The Reata, Harry's Tinaja, and The Bread and Breakfast. Alpine is also a good home base for taking day trips to nearby Marfa, Fort Davis, Terlingua and Marathon. I can't recommend them enough!

Stayed at the Alpine Guest lofts last weekend. The room was very clean well maintained and quiet. Contains everything you need for a short or long stay, you're basically renting an apartment. The lofts are easy access in Alpine. You can walk to many of the Galleries, Bread and Breakfast and Reata. I will be back!

These lofts couldn't be cuter. The owners really have gone out of their way to make you feel at home with snacks (including local baked goods and fruit), drinks, coffee, and interesting books/games. The decor is very cute and clean and you are in walking distance of everything including a great blues live music venue and Italian restaurant. The courtyard also was adorable. So much better than a hotel. Warning for light sleepers though, the walls are super thin, so bring earplugs or risk being kept up by either the trains or neighbors like us that actually want to talk at more than a whisper past your bed time. I'd go back any time, and would recommend it to anyone.
