Love this place to find the newest records as well as a big collection of used stock as well. The staff is always willing to help find what you are looking for and has many times ordered items they didn't have. I love it here. Great shop located in the Fountains shopping center. Highly recommend!

I've been buying, selling, and collecting records for several decades, and mostly, I look for bargains. I've bought from Goodwill, Salvation Army, and various flea markets. THAT is where to find bargain records, NOT a retail store, OR a place that buys records for pennies and sells them overpriced to young hoodwinked hipster vinyl collector wannabes. If I want collectible records I buy them directly from collectors. (Or, in the case of The Beatles' "Yesterday and Today" pictured here on the heading of ATMV, at Salvation Army, untouched and still intact with the replacement cover, for $2.25... bargain much?). So this store has a good selection of NEW vinyl records. Kinda pricey, and seems like they are cheaper at online retailers. They have "some" used records. I was not impressed with their prices for these records. At all. I don't and won't pay $15 for a classic rock record that is not collectible or not very. $15 is ridiculous. You can find the same record at a used record store that specializes in used records for 1/4 that price, much less one of the locations mentioned in the first paragraph for 1/8 that price. AND you can check out the condition of the record. One of the more expensive of the used record stores is Charley's in Albuquerque, they seal the records, but also encourage people to bring the record to the counter for them to open it and you can check it right there and then. They'll even play it for you. Charley's is not my favorite place, I won't tell you what is, but they are fantastic and have a HUGE selection of old AND new! Anyway, I'm not putting this place down, it is what it is and the hipsters love it. They don't mind overpaying for records. Good for them. I'll say this, of the handful of shops that I've checked out in El Paso, this one was the best. That's El Paso for ya. Try going to Eyekonic in Las Cruces. Also not one of my favorite spots, but it is head over heels better than ATMV. Just sayin'

So I have been meaning to write a review for this store and I will start by saying they have a great selection and staff. Plus the military discount is awesome. However, their prices and condition of records can be atrocious. I admit, when I was shopping here I was new to the vinyl game and bought a few used records from them without checking the condition. Huge mistake. And I paid for it. I bought a few great things that I was stoked to find (cost about $10 a pop) only to find out that they're in the condition that shouldn't be sold for more than $1. Scratches soBad than it did stereotypical playing the same part over and over. How sad. They do a great job of labeling things, but I would say they are over rated in the labeling. What a bummer. But like someone else said, the completion is pretty slim in El Paso.

Huge fan of All That Music & Video and super disappointed in myself that I missed National Record Store Day yesterday.Anywho, ATMV is my favorite music store in EP because you can seriously get anything music related here. I usually buy my vinyl here because you can find Lady Gaga, Adele, Panic at the Disco!, and really any and all the new records you want for the price you'd pay online minus shipping. And if you want to join the ranks of the musically superior, you can pick up a record player here for a Benjamin. Also, just so you know...that purist crap is just that, crap. Music doesn't sound better on a record player, it just makes you cooler. So if you need some cool points and you need them quick (maybe you're having a date over later tonight and realized your 12'in t.v. and futon are less than impressive) go get a record player pronto - even a vintage one will do the trick - and stock up on records at ATMV. Guaranteed panty dropper since 1877 (except for the years between 1982 and 1991). But you know, if you still like CD's and what-not, you can still pick those up here too because they have a pretty massive selection. The staff is amazing. They know everything you could possibly want to know about their products and can help you find exactly what you're looking for even if it's not something they carry. ATMV clearly only hires music lovers and that's a huge plus.Great store, great staff, and decent prices. Check it out and grow your music collection!

There aren't many options in El Paso when shopping for vinyl, but out of the few that exist I'd say this is probably your best option in the area. It's not great in comparison to the many other spots I've been to , but to be fair, they aren't really a record shop since the store has a wide range of items including CDs, audio equipment, posters, memorabilia, and other music related items.Pros: Staff are very friendly and knowledgeable, pricing is fair given the location, good assortment of genres for both vinyl and CDs. There are 2 racks of new items that have been recently discounted and they have some ok deals in there.-Each of the regular rack items has a sticker telling you the grade of the item as well as a description of what's wrong with the item (ie. scratches, plays with surface noise, etc).Cons: -The "budget" vinyl section --- $3 and under rack ---- has a bunch of less desirable records you can search through for deals----BUT they reseal all of them. If the seal is broken, then the sale price is invalid. This doesn't make a lot of sense to me, seems like a lot of trouble for records with no value. I've never seen this much attention paid to records that people aren't likely to buy anyway.-The grading system is awkward. They don't use goldmine standards, instead there's a system of VG, G, FG(Fairly Good), etc. I looked through a big portion of the inventory and found the grading inconsistent/inaccurate on several items.-There is no "New Arrivals" section, so if you were a regular here you would have to browse through every single section every time just to see if there's anything new.Despite the cons, I'd say this place is good for a quick 15-20 min stop if you're in the mood for music.

This is a dangerous place for me-an absolutely huge store with vinyl and CDs of all varieties. It's owned by a true music lover and the store shows it. I like this place very much!

I've been meaning to write a review of this store for some time now. I reside in the Bay Area and travel frequently. I have been to countless records stores nation-wide. The organization, selection, customer service, and pricing of ATM&V is unparalleled. I found so many great records at astonishingly low prices. All of which had detailed labels on the front indicating the condition and press. I have been ranting an raving to friends about this place since my last visit and can't wait to return.

Support this local music store! The staff is passionate about music and dedicated to helping you find what you're looking for. Such a diverse selection of music in CDs and records! They have a great selection of used CDs, too, which means I usually buy more music than I intended. There's also a section where you can find posters, buttons, and other music memorabilia. All That Music supports the local music scene and often has information on who's playing where. I could spend hours in here!

I have been a customer of All That Music & Video for years and years (including when it was a little shop on Montana Avenue called Nostalgia Records). ATM&V is one of those rare places in El Paso -- a locally owned shop that has made it through extensive changes in the music industry. They've been around when vinyl was the mainstay, when it almost went extinct, and now, back during the revival.ATM&V still boasts the area's biggest selection of new and used vinyl, and is very good about accurately grading their vinyl (according to real industry standards and years and years of experience). I have consistently found their items to have been of even better quality than graded (in my opinion). I have also found the pricing to be honest, straightforward and reasonable. The store has a nice selection of rock, indie, Spanish music, country and even good representation of local acts. And if you are a fan of the Beatles, be sure to go check out the store's display of vintage Beatles paraphernalia...it's quite good!Experience is the key at All That Music & Video. Any collector in El Paso or the area should truly give the store a visit!
