Alamo Drafthouse Cinema East El Paso

The Alamo draft house was wonderful. The waitress that served our food and drinks was pleasant and efficient. The food was very good. The drinks were marvelous. And the movie that we saw wicked was the best! We enjoyed the venue and we enjoyed the food and the drinks. It was a wonderful experience and we can't wait to go back.

We love going to Alamo & enjoying movies & food. The food is always delicious. The servers are great & efficient. The ambiance is great, nice seats that recline. The bad side of Alamo is that the app is continually down. I have tried for three hours to purchase tickets for a movie today with no luck. I keep getting different messages saying I amUnable to purchase tickets. My daughter has tried from her phone as well with the same results. We are both Season pass holders. We have had similar issues on the past with this app. They really need to fix all the glitches in this app it's frustrating & an inconvenience for season pass holders.

Just came from seeing the new Mad Max: Furiousa movie at Alamo Drafthouse and it was an interesting experience. This was my husband and I's first time at Alamo so we didn't know what to expect. Back home in SoCal I had been to a few in-service movie theaters and in all honesty those ones were much better.To start off with the good, the theater is very big and looks to be brand new. It is the only establishment in the lot except for a McDonald's and a gas station so I'm assuming it was recently opened. The theater was nice and open, they also kept the temperature at a good spot unlike other theaters who will literally freeze you while you watch a movie.Our server was good, at least the first one that came to introduce himself and ask if it was our first time. I think they have a crew that just delivers food or comes around to check on you cause I kept seeing different people every time something was dropped off.Now for the food... honestly it was disappointing. The only positive I can say is that the loaded fries were good. Both my husband and I enjoyed those. But that's where the good ended.I ordered the watermelon margarita for myself and unfortunately had to send it back due to it being extremely salty! I asked for water instead, which I stuck with for the duration of the movie. My husband ordered the bbq chicken pizza, which he says wasn't too bad. I did have a few bites and really don't think it was worth the hefty $16 price. It didn't really taste like bbq chicken to me, I can't put my finger on it but something tasted off. I got the ribeye tacos and they were very salty. Not only that but the meat was really dry as well with almost no other toppings. The chips and salsa that came with my meal didn't really help either. The chips were super salty and the salsa just didn't taste good at all.I see a running theme at this theater for having salty food. So take that with a grain of salt (pun intended).One thing I do have to say is that despite only taking a sip or two of my watermelon margarita and sending it back for a glass of water, it appears we were still charged for the drink. Unfortunately my husband didn't check the bill and also didn't mention anything until we got home but I think we were overcharged on our bill. I totaled everything and it should have been around $51 but my husband said he paid over $80 including tip. I don't think he would have tipped $30 so I believe we were charged incorrectly. Another reason why their rating is so low.Overall I don't know if I would ever come back here. The theater is nice, big and new - but the lack of flavor in their food and drinks as well as overcharging by what I consider a big amount on our bill. I just can't recommend Alamo Drafthouse. I think going to Cinemark and just getting a popcorn and candy would have been a better bet.

Great new location! My friend and I came her3 for the Phantom of the Opera movie party - our first time experiencing the fun of a movie party evening! We each got our own popcorn and drinks and loved the experience, but agreed the seats were on the small/narrow side and meant we were really close to the strangers reclined in seats adjacent to us. The new space is beautiful, service is very good, and the parking lot out front is plentiful. We got tickets ahead of time and just had our QR codes scanned upon arrival. Everything was super convenient. Next time I want to come in and try out dinner menu items here!

The menu says they use pressed lime for the Clooney margarita. In actuality, they use concentrated lime juice. Some people can taste the difference!

Visited from SoCal - came here with my sister to watch IF. Overall neat, clean and comfy experience.Im not sure if it was intended, but I enjoyed how there were selections of related clips from various films / productions prior to the movie we were about to watch (which was unique & thoughtful - I felt anticipated for the movie!). It was worthwhile that we got there early.We ordered some snacks during the movie - popcorn, cheese sticks, nachos, and some drinks which were good & reasonably priced given that we are in inflation. Also, special shoutout to Jordan who went over and beyond to find my wallet - seriously saved me from headaches & missing my flight. Hope to comeback again when I visit El Paso :-)

Favorite cinema in El Paso. The food is always so delicious. I always get a pizza at a minimum. Pricing isn't too bad either. The staff is generally quick to come when you put on the light to make an order. Drinks are usually a bit slower to receive but don't ruin the experience. Always quiet and the reclining chairs make it super comfortable.

This is the best cinema I've ever gone to hands down. Awesome food oh my god their cauliflower wings are amazing and the cookie shake is top tier! Service is extremely fast and didn't have to wait too long to eat. Also, eating and watching a movie is so great like we don't have to eat before or after the movie! The cinema was big and it just had a nice feeling and I liked it a lot! 10/10 you definitely have to go experience it!

Always have loved this chain of movie theaters. I like how they have such cool, themed art adorning the halls as you walk to your theater. The entrance and lobby are perfectly lit, neatly decorated, and welcoming. There's a bar where you can lounge and hang with friends. The staff is always helpful and friendly. They always have the hottest NEW movies, and really cool old school throwback movies as well. I never miss a chance to see whatever the new Marvel film is, and when I go see it, I go to Alamo. The seating is so comfortable, especially the electronic recliners. The menu is decent. Now then, it ain't special occasion food, but a decent menu nonetheless. Great snacks and entrees, full bar menu available right there on your seat. You can discreetly order food and drink all through the movie without ever leaving your seat. That's a huge selling point for me. Sound equipment and picture quality is all state of the art. Even a nice app you can use to buy tickets, pre order stuff, and earn points towards rewards. By far my favorite cinema. I love the comfortable seating. If you are early there's a bar/dining are to chill. Food is decent, honestly what more can you want when you can order food and drinks to be brought to you while watching the newest release? Service has also always been great!
