I cant praise this shop enough! After taking my Ram Promaster to another shop, Alamo was recommended by Top Tech. The guys at Alamo inspected my transmission, found the problem, and wanted to try and rebuild for me. I insisted on a new transmission as it seemed the issues were just too much. New transmission installed and my van now runs like a charm!THEN, I spot a new leak in my tire well. Transmission??? I take it back ticked-off but no, its my Rack-n-pinion. This van sat for 5 years and now that Im fixing it up, its just snowballing. Alamo fixed the Rack-n-pinion as well with new parts. Didnt hose me on the price either. If you can get in (theyre pretty busy), youre in luck.

You could improve by training your staff how to properly install a hitch. They totally messed up my brake lights ...did not wire correctly!! Do NOT recommend this place.

Let me start out by saying this place does damn good work! The selection of auto supplies range from custom stereo systems to truck bedding accessories to lights. For a modest sized store, the selection is quite impressive! Anything they don't currently have in stock at the time they can order for you promptly.I actually first found out about this place years ago when I purchased a tonneau cover back in '09. Imagine my amazement that they still had my info in their system almost 7 years later. In the case of this visit, I was replacing my tonneau cover with a tool box, which you can view the aftermath of in the attached photo.Needless to say, they did an excellent job. FYI: they also offer military discount. They're conveniently located just outside of Fort Bliss; not even 2 miles out. The guy that was helping me even said it's no accident they are located where they are.They also have in-store WiFi, but you still need a username and password...which I find pointless if it's free anyway. Overall though, they are definitely worth the trip. Next time I return, I plan on having fog lights installed to my truck.

Picked up new running boards for my truck yesterday and had a great experience. Store was busy but everyone was helpful, super friendly and got me back on the road quickly.

definitely do not recommend it, it is better to look elsewhere. My experience was that I ordered step bars and they did not arrive complete. They gave me an appointment and on the day of my appointment they told me that. They scheduled another appointment for installation and it took almost 5 hours, and that was even though I had an appointment. I asked and they told me if they could put it in, it would be ready in 30 minutes.

The customer service representative JERRY went above and beyond to find the part I needed for my truck. it was the very last part since doing inch lift on my truck. I had been to every other chain auto parts store plus all the off-road ATV shops in El Paso with no success.... He made sure the exact specifications and quality was met with the product. God bless Jerry!!!

Installed a bed cover. The item was great at a good price, installed in the time they said they would.

Please have better parking for customers. There's vehicles on the south side that look like they have been there for months. This would be such an improvement.

What happened to Alamo Auto Supply? Customer service has gone down drastically & they act like they don't care on making sales. I'm very disappointed with this place & need start looking somewhere else. It looks like they have taken for granted that they got all these local government contracts & the hell with customer walk ins & public sales. After buying merchandise from them for the past 15 years, it just seems like they have lost it. They are always low on merchandise in stock & personnel. Shape up ALAMO!

I went here to buy some Amp power steps for my truck. Everyone was friendly but insisted that I where a mask, I wasn't happy about that but I put it on anyway and followed the rep, rep was fine showed me the display but I just couldn't stand the fact that they insisted I where a mask!!. When did men in a Truck accessory shop become scared of catching a cold like old women? Anyway I politely told the sales guy to inform whoever made the mask policy that they lost a sale because of it. i like to buy local but it looks like eBay is going to get my business this time. Just say no To masks!!
