I've only been once... and I'm already in love! I signed up for a drop in aerial yoga class with Ana ($20 drop in fee) .. and let me tell you, as fun as it was, it was also one of the best workouts I've ever had! The core and arm strength required is intense! Not to mention the discomfort of the hammock in general is something that requires some getting used to..We went through the basic "neutral" position, then lead into an inversion, starfish, inverted pigeon, and flying kick (hope i got the terms right, lol) I was pretty excited that I was able to hit them all on the first try! Ana was a great instructor and now I cant wait to go back to try some of the other classes! Silks, pole dancing, lyra... And I am especially excited to see the Aerial Circus Twisted Fairy Tale performance coming up on October 19th!

I come to El Paso for business here and there and found this studio to fill my free time with. I do silks in my home town and came here to try lyra for the first time. Everyone here is so inviting and helpful, they made me feel comfortable despite the fact that I don't live in the area. They have so many different classes and offer a very reasonable package to try them all. They're all well trained and understand the body well. Will definitely come back when I'm in town!

Wow!!! I just tried the aerial yoga class and it was so much harder than I thought. It was definitely an exercise, I will be super sore tomorrow. Even though it was difficult and somewhat painful Ana was such a great teacher and it was a lot of fun!!

We had so much fun at our Intro Class. Everyone was friendly. They are moving to a new location so there will be even more room for high flying fun. I love that they have classes for my Preschooler and allow us flexibility in choosing what to learn in Private classes.

Best choice for my fitness journey I could've ever made. The silks and pole classes are wonderful and the teachers are extremely supportive and encouraging. They get you where you need to be in a safe way and at your own pace. They always take their time to pay attention to pay attention to each individual which makes the learning process much easier. The ladies at the front desk are always so warm and inviting. Also love the extra safety precautions and sanitation for the pandemic. Amazing place, would give 10 stars if I could.

I dont enjoy writing bad reviews but my experience with aerial academy has to be told. From the moment I called to get information about pricing and classes, my call wasn't returned. I had to call about 3 times before I got a person on the line. Carolyn, the owner, was nice but did not have all the basic information I was asking for, like maintenance fees and what not. It seemed very disorganized but I still joined. I really enjoyed being up on the hammock, it was challenging and couldn't wait to get in there despite the limited classes. Their scheduling is so limited that if you have a busy day you might not catch the class you joined. There were times class would begin 15 minutes late yet it still ended at its scheduled time making it a 45 min class. Other times it would start late because the hammocks weren't set up yet again stealing our class time. Once my schedule didn't allow me to go to my one class twice a week I started calling again to cancel membership. I called repeatedly for almost two months leaving voicemails and callback numbers. The last time I called and left message, I got a text from the number I've been calling saying "please text me" so I did. I told her, Carolyn the owner, I'd been trying to reach them for a while and just wanted to cancel my membership. At NO point was she apologetic or empathetic with me. She was short and rude. I filled the necessary paperwork and noticed there was a disclaimer about refunds. I made my way to the gym to talk to her in person about the matter. Being that I've been trying to reach them for two months now I didnt feel it's fair for to pay the last month charged. When I got there and told the front desk girl the issue, she was empathetic and informed me that she wasn't there and wouldn't be available until the weekend. So I preceded to call her, no answer so I texted again. I told her my dilemma and how as a business owner myself I wanted this to be handled professionally. I mentioned that I would write a review about my experience whether peasant or not. She responded saying that threats weren't going to get me anywhere and that as a woman business owner I should be more understanding. I expect anyone, not just women , to be treated with professional behavior. There was never a resolution to this matter. I was never given my money back and the fact that Carolyn would choose to wrongfully just keep my $80 vs trying to come up with a solution shows you how she operates her business. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND ANYONE TO GO HERE BECAUSE OF IT. If anyone would like to see the actual back and forth text messages I will be happy to share. My email is [email protected]
