A Catered Affair

HORRIBLE & RUDEST ever, hard to communicate with, very disorganized, even belittles their own vendors/contractors such as witnessing rude comments towards the photographers, caterers, etc. I was uncomfortable as a wedding guest, DO NOT MAKE MY MISTAKE AND AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!!!!!!!

Simply amazing!Wow, where to start about Mr. Lewis..Short: We recently employed A Catered Affair (ACA) to cater and decorate our wedding ceremony and venue. The owner, Lewis, was an incredible help to my wife and I. He instantly clicked with us and made one of the most difficult parts of planning our own wedding simple and easy. He was always very professional, reassuring and extremely energetic about our big day. Long: Planning our own wedding we shopped around for quite a while, courting many vendors to handle our catering. My wife stumbled upon ACA at a local wedding showcase because of some decorations Lewis was displaying. After talking with Lewis, my wife hired him to cater/decorate on the spot! He was so reassuring and knowledgeable that my wife's anxiety about us handling everything instantly dropped. Lewis maintained the same high levels of communication, enthusiasm and professionalism throughout the planning and execution of our wedding. Rather than handing us a short menu of foods to choose from, he worked with us and made suggestions based on our needs, our guests needs and the weather. His food tasted great, his decorations were amazing and Lewis was on site every step of the way! His decorations, table settings and chairs were very nice and matched our theme/colors perfectly and with class. He was also able to help us secure and manage a vendor to handle our bar. The bottom line: Lewis will just make it happen. He has a great staff and a great deal of resources to fulfill just about any need. Talk with him from day one before doing anything else.

Met them at a bridal fair. RUDEST person i have met in a long time. Condescending to the bride not just once but twice in the same conversation. I would avoid them.

Louis ia amazing! We hired A Catered Affair for my sons graduation party, and they did an excellent job. The food was great, the staff was wonderful and I would highly recommend A Catered Affair to cater your next party!

I met with Louis and really enjoyed talking to him. Super knowledgeable, seemed experienced, kind...I was really looking forward to having him cater my son's bar mitzvah.But weeks went by, and no contact. I called and emailed, and asked for a menu and budget. He apologized, said he'd been really busy with weddings, and would get back to me that week. Aaaannddd...crickets. There aren't a lot of catering possibilities in this town, and Louis seems like a lovely person. But no one planning a big event needs to babysit the caterer!
