came to get my A/C checked out and the idiots told me not today, not a single person working in the shop.

Hit an animal in the middle of the night and got towed to this shop. They were fast to get me looked at. Got the parts right away and had me road ready in 2 hours. The crew in here was friendly and knew what to do. Absolutely would recommend them.

Broke down in Vanhorn Texas in my motorhome the owner and operator helped me out in whatever way he could but did not have the ability to work on my transmission . Waiting for our tow to El Paso the owner let us stay in his lot after hours until they arrived and got us to El Paso! Much appreciative to the owner of A&A !

So my husband is a mechanic. He can fix anything. Our moving truck was overloaded. So much so some parts of axel were rubbing on the tire. H says we'll see if the repair shop can add overload springs to the axel. He goes to this shop &, guy consults his workers etc comes back to say that it can't be done. We need a bigger truck, problem is weight. He can't help us. Well he was wrong cuz my husband went to auto parts store himself, got some springs & tools & fixed the problem himself. Soo, maybe this place doesn't have great skills or most likely just lazy to do the work. Probably would be fine doing basic work but who knows.

My sons car 2004 nissan sentra kept stalling out. Check engine light illuminated. He was able to get the car going and found himself at A & A. After checking the car out, the mechanic found out the crankshaft sensor caused the check engine light to come on. He then stated to my son that the fuel pump needed to be changed. I assumed that before making that conclusion he took a pressure test to see if the fuel pump was in fact suspect. I found out later the mechanic never tested the fuel pump, just assumed it was bad. The fuel pump was ordered and the next day was put in the vehicle. When I talked to the mechanic that day I wanted the crankshaft sensor changed. He told me he reset the computer and after a test drive the check engine light did not come on. Well my son left the shop and less than 10 miles the car shut off again and the check engine light came on. My son was able it to make to Sierra Blanca where another mechanic changed the crankshaft sensor. He then drove for many miles where he got to Sacramento, Ca. The car drove fine. What is really sad in this day and age is how people take advantage of other people. I was charged over 500.00 for the fuel pump. When I questioned the amount the mechanic told me the pump cost him 234.00 and the hour labor was 95.00. He charged me double what the pump cost him and the original fuel pump wasn't even broke..If I ever have to travel on highway 10 towards el paso I know now where not to stop at. Shame on you

HORROR STORY ... DON'T GET ANYTHING REPAIRED HERE. SERIOUSLY.COST ME $3,000 INCLUDING THE TRUCK I HAD TO RENT TO GET HOME.Be warned and find somewhere else to get your R.V., Truck or Car repaired.Our R.V., broke down going across country to Florida. A&A Repair in Sierra Blanca charged us $780 for the tow, fuel tank flush and fuel pump. I flew in from FL once repaired to pick it up and 25 miles down the road, see smoke pouring out the back, oil gushing out of the engine flowing down the side AND I realized that none of the gauges work now (gas, temp, oil pressure ... they must have disconnected them to put the electronic fuel pump on and didn't reconnect). Made it to A&A Repair in Van Horn where they put an oil cap on, didn't even bother putting oil in it and told me the gauges might not have worked when they got it. THEY ALL WORKED FINE WHEN THEY GOT IT. Sat there for TWO DAYS, having to walk 2 miles from the hotel just to get food etc. No work done on it and they had NO intention of working on it. After 2 days rented a one-way Penske truck to get my belongings out of the R.V WHICH COST ME $1,300!!! My Brother-in-law (who is a bus mechanic!) drove from San Diego to TX with a friend to fix the R.V., and told me they'd left off hoses and vacuums too.He fixed it so it could be driven and told me that the 5 or 6 Mexicans who work there, just sat around, staring, talking and laughing at them while they fixed it. He's taking it back to San Diego, fixing it PROPERLY and we'll split the proceeds.PLEASE BE WARNED, THEY'RE CON-ARTISTS AND UNSKILLED MECHANICS.

the worst place STAY AWAY bad customer service extremely rude to customers, over priced just scams people.

Needed diagnostics done on my motor home, went to their shop and tech read codes (7 of them) said none were active and erased them. Still had a yellow light. My issue was 350.00 for literally 5 minutes and I broke down down once on the road. I broke down in the middle of nowhere and had to have my RV towed 109 miles on a flatbed to get a real diagnostics done and then a repair. They cost me a ton of $$$. I called them and he said he gave me just what I asked for...... he was so matter of fact about it that I got angry with him. I didn't know my wife had called him and he told her not to harass him.... She didn't. This place may do others well but not us.

do not go thre, the will change your price after the work is done. they will hold your truck hostage !!!!!

I have to say we were pretty terrified about the bad reviews of this place, but when we broke down, this was the place that was open that could work on our diesel. Bill was our main contact and the mechanic that helped us out. We had to order a new alternator and have it shipped to them while we were hundreds of miles away back home. Bill got it put in and stayed in touch over the week until we were able to get back to Van Horn to pick up the vehicle. The shop was closed Fri-Sun for Easter weekend but Bill came in that Saturday and spent his morning with my Husband trying to figure out an issue with some wiring we brought with us. I honestly don't know what we would have done without Bill. The charges were extremely reasonable.
