A-1 Freeman Moving Group

Excellent crew of guys came to unpack our military shipment of HHG. After a serious delay (40 days) in receiving our belongings, we didn't have much good will left. Then, the A1 Freeman crew of Johnny Gonzales, Sam Ponce and Alfredo Gonzalez showed up! These guys were a delightful crew of professionals. Our sense of humor returned! They did a fantastic job of unloading our 9 crates of stuff in the blistering El Paso heat. Then Arnold showed up and assured us his company was in no rush, and offered to return at our request to pick up the empty boxes and paper. Later in the day, a second crew of guys came by to help out with finishing our unpack. These guys, Enrique and George, were just as helpful and nice as everyone else. Thank you for everything yesterday! We will request this company when it comes time to leave, for sure! Yard was as clean as when they arrived, floors in the house were protected, everything placed as requested. Really worthy of five stars from start to finish!

This has been-by far- the worst moving experience of my life as a military wife. First, they didn't show up. For a 3-day pack/move schedule, they did not show up for the first two days leaving them 1 day to pack and move all of our belongings from a 4-bedroom, 3-bathroom home. They were at our house from 9am to 10pm, keeping our 7 month old daughter up for hours after her bedtime. Items such as my daughters activity gym were left to be moved unpacked. All of our formal clothing was folded into a box rather than packed hanging in a wardrobe box. Our holiday decorations were taken out of their boxes, repacked, and the boxes we use every year to store our decorations were cut apart and used for packing other items or left as trash in the garage after we explicating asked them to pack those boxes. One packer asked me if I was 'attached' to the full-length mirror in our bedroom because he was out of packing material. They inventoried damages on our furniture without discussing it with us. They tried to move my acoustic guitar without packing it. They left clothes in dresser drawers to be moved. The only reason we had advanced notice of their arrival at our move destination was because my husband called them, and that is when we found out they would be arriving the following day. Multiple items had tape directly on them, leaving residue and tearing away surfaces. They repeatedly ignored specific directions for packing certain items. The driver, Mario Berrera, was repeatedly rude to us and even forgot that he had HARDWARE for our furniture in the cab of his truck. They even damaged our brand new home when moving our furniture into our house.

These guys are awesome. I was in a tough situation trying to find a moving company at the last minute during peak moving season for the Army. The transportation office couldn't help and no other moving company was able to move my stuff in less than a weeks notice. However, A-1 Freeman, more specifically, Walt, helped me out and did everything he could to make sure my house was pack and moved. I'm extremely grateful for their hard work and would recommend those movers to anyone above all else. Thank you Walt, and A-1 Freeman!
