While Bar Hopping I visited 81/2 I was surprised the business was not already added in yelp so as a good Yelper I added it. Out of 3 bars I visited that night I enjoyed 8 1/2 most because the ambiance was chill. Mike the bartender gave all kinds of positive vibes and amazing costumer service. The drinks were just right. If you are LGBTQ or not this bar is just right for a chill environment. You may sit on the bar or on lil high tables around. I highly suggest you Uber here or park in a parking garage a block away and walk. Just do the right thing and Uber here so you may be comfortable after a few drinks.

A local favorite for intimate bar hangs and fast drinks by Mike, Feliciano, or Abel usually. More chill vibes and is the sister bar to Dillingers. Karaoke has started on Wednesday and it is a neighborhood favorite to get cold beer and play your tunes on the touch tunes with friends or meet up with someone to relax. From Long Islands to Martinis, it's a great spot to start off with, stay the whole night, or end the night before staying at the Gardener or Stanton House or any of the other hotels. Great for pre and post game. Since it's so intimate the service is fast and friendly.

If I could give negative stars, I would. This bar used to be my friends and I favorite hangout spot; we would go there all the time, buy drinks and spend a lot of money, but not after today. We went to the bar to drink, but my friends had to use the restrooms. As we were in the facilities we received a message from another friend to meet up somewhere else (in the same strip). We left without buying any drinks (knowing we would be back later) to meet up with our friend, but the bartender decided to humiliate us and yell "you can't just come here and use the restroom!!!" We left the bar and this lady had the audacity to FOLLOW US out of the bar, yelling why we were using her restroom and that "it's expensive to keep them clean". It felt like she was judging us and made disgusting faces towards us. I later found out that she is the OWNER of said bar. I am disgusted and humiliated by her actions. This happened at Dillinger's btw (the bottom part if 8 1/2).
