It LOOKS Puerto Rican but it tastes nothing like Puerto Rican food. -Alcapurrias De Jueyes was undercooked. I couldn't even finish eating them. Couldn't even taste the Jueyes.-mofongo con camarones ajillo, I was excited because I saw someone give it a "10/10..... lies. It barely had any taste. Shrimp were the only thing I enjoyed but the amount of sauce on the plate was extremely unnecessary. Presentation: a mess 0/10My stomach was messed up after this dinner.

My heart is shattered. I'm Puertorrican born and raised. I've been living in the US where the Army takes me for the past 10 years, that being said, I don't often get the opportunity to eat food from home. There are not a lot of places in El Paso to eat Puertorrican food so I took my chances and ordered for me and my husband and the cost was $70. I cannot tell you how incredibly disappointed I was. The churrasco was so hard it was nearly inedible and the mofongo was just as tough. The shrimp was good but even with all that sauce, the mofongo was hard as a rock. Unfortunately, I don't think I'll ever give this place another chance, it was a robbery.

I have really been missing my Mother's Puerto Rican cooking and decided to go check this place out as it was rated high. Omg! Tostones, arroz con gandules, chuleta frita! I was in heaven absolutely delicious! I also wanted a coconut dessert called tembleque but they had run out! Our server was great, the atmosphere was nice and the food was amazing! I literally was taken back to my childhood eating all this authentic Puerto Rican food! Thank you! Highly recommend! Enjoy

Walked right inside , they had music blasting in the background. I was quite surprised how spacious the inside is We got here at 7pm , was greeted to our table right but it was not enough chairs so we just grabbed a couple more, we were a party of 7 and we made reservations too. The waitress didn't really speak English she keep speaking Spanish. I order the pernil de cerdo, I also wanted tres leche but they didn't have any. I order mine with yellow rice and they messed up my order and gave me white rice . The waitress did bring me a side of the yellow rice . Order the yellow rice it is more tasty and flavorful. When the waitress brought the boxes for everyone to put their leftovers, she forgot me and messed up my order. . I asked multiple times for a box for my food . While the waitress was going around getting everyone to pay, there was a pestering fly , I had shoo away on multiple occasions You can do split checks, but since the party was more than 6 , gratuity is included in your check There is plenty of parking , the service I received from this place was horrible. I couldn't enjoy my foodI recommend ordering the Chicharrones de pollo with yellow rice . I had a piece of it from the sampler and it was the best one , properly seasoned and crispy. They even keep on the chicken skin.

I was in your restaurant yesterday and unfortunately, did not have a good experience.I ordered the pork chops with arroz con Gandules, and a side of Tostones.The food came out and the arroz con gandules looked well prepared, but it was not. It had a funny taste to it, and it was not cooked all the way. The waitress changed it to white rice and beans and unfortunately, it was still not cooked. It didn't taste right. Not even the beans.I tried to eat it, but could not it was horrible. Never have. I had anything like it. I ended up leaving it on the plate and finish my meal with the Tostones with the burnt pork chops that were more like jerky.This is not the first time I have been to your restaurant. It has always been a good experience. Not sure what happened yesterday.I suggest that you look into your chef's cooking practices.By the way, I was not alone. There were two other people with me who had pretty much the same and both told me they did not like that rice or beans.Rice and beans are our staple food. I'm not sure how that one gets screwed up.I hope you take this as constructive criticism and not a complaint. Please check and see what the chef is doing in the kitchen. He is screwing things up for you.
