I've been calling this restaurant since Friday using the phone number that's listed on all their sites and social media 915-351-6023. Robo voicemail kicks in after 4 rings. I've left messages, no response. I love the food here but it's so frustrating not to have a working phone! I've sent an email as well. Are they still in business?

Food is consistently good! Precovid, we had all our office birthday lunches here. Everything is good. My faves are the chicken salad sandwich with Mac and cheese and the 501 burger. Affordable prices and great lunch specials.

First time here for Mariachis and Tacos. What a fun time! The mariachis (an all woman ensamble) was awesome! The food was reasonably priced. The tacos i had were beef and very tasty....loaded! And inexpensive! OMG the green chile salsa given with the tacos was heavenly! Dig friendly patio in the heart of downtown El Paso.

I went to 501 for the first time last night to meet some friends for happy hour. I can't review the full menu, but I would certainly come back for some $1 margaritas and $1 tacos. The large patio is well shaded and was a great place to have a few drinks even though it was still pretty warm. Inside is a bit quirky, yet charming. The staff were friendly, although they didn't want to serve the two large groups on the patio at first. I'm generally not a fan of margaritas, but c'mon, they were $1! Great happy hour deal and pretty delicious margaritas. I also tried the chicken, beef and guacamole tacos. Guacamole were my favorite by far. A little messy, but delicious. The chicken was tasty, though a little dry and the beef was nothing special, but still good. Apparently you have to ask for salsa and you definitely want to! The salsa was a great compliment to the tacos. Just the right amount of heat and very very good.

My fiancé and I stopped by here today for lunch, and were quite impressed! First, the décor is beautiful. I'm talking antique-looking silver chargers on the tables, oversized decorative lantern chandeliers, terracotta tiles, and floor-to-ceiling windows. Loved it.Next, the speed: we met at just past noon, and had signed the bill and left by 12:35. And even with this lightning-fast service, neither their service nor food suffered. My fiancé decided on the Steak Tampiqueña, and I got the Tacos al Pastor. Both were delicious-- made with flavorful, fresh ingredients. The Charro Beans and rice were delicious as well. The House-Made Lemonade was sewwt and tart, just like I want it. They make it in-house, and when we got our glasses, the waitress said they had literally just finished making up the batch for the lunch hour. You could really taste the quality of the ingredients. I know they have $1 Tacos $ Margaritas, as well... we'll definitely have to come back and give those a try sometime!

Awesome place and great service. They have a really nice patio/courtyard which is perfect for a nice drink. They allowed us to host a birthday party and accommodate to our needs. Food is pretty good too.

This is for the $1 margarita and $1 taco Friday happy hour from 5-8 pm. That alone is worth 5 stars! The tacos are pretty tasty, as was the margarita. There is a big outside patio area as well as spacious interior, and I think I may have found my new Friday eve happy hour spot--it is definitely worth checking out! Friendly staff, as well.

Love this place. The food is great and the green enchiladas might be my favorite in town. The staff is friendly and attentive. It really is one of the best spots in downtown for lunch. Where they become super awesome is on Friday nights from 5:01-8:00. They have $1 tacos and $1 margaritas. You read that right. For $10 you can eat and drink like a king. Get you some!

I wanted to like this place so bad but everything my party of 3 had was awful except my margarita. Our friend got dry green enchiladas, my bf got a burger you could get at Burger King and my fish tacos were sloppy and not worth $11 at all. Food had no taste at all. I was embarrassed for recommending it.

As soon as the Texas governor lifted the covid safety measures, this place has started playing obnoxiously loud live music late at night in their outside area (even after midnight). It is unnecessary, and they should do that inside of their building. This business gives no respect to their community. I went there to check on it, and indeed they are the source. In an added note, they don't give a damn about health measures either. It sickens me.
