Some of the BEST Mexican food I've ever had! And, they gave me sopapilla's too. Little did I know they would have brought me honey if I'd asked. Instead I mopped up the ranchero sauce and beans with them.Delicious cheese enchilada's with rice and beans. We also got an order of chips, salsa and guacamole. The chips were round and looked like Tostito's. The salsa was good. The guacamole tasted like it was from a container and not made fresh. It also had A LOT of tomatoes in it. But, the delicious entre's made up for the chips.The service was great and even the manager came by to check on us. Very clean restaurant with a clean restroom. I'd highly recommend.

Definitely a hole in the wall of El Paso but it is also a treasure. While this building has a shady appearance from the outside, it is nice and welcoming on the inside, although it is very casual and not fancy at all. These kinds of places are the best. Inexpensive food with expensive-tasting quality. I have tried gorditas from all over the place since JJs closed a while back and none were the same. The gorditas here are aaaawesome. Ordered the El Paso plate to try a little bit of everything and it was all great. Their salsas killed me (a LOT of heat) but I am a spice-weenie. I trucked through them anyway because the flavor was incredible. Huge servings, low price, great taste. I'll be coming back for more!Also, there was one waitress waiting several tables with parties of at least 5 and she did an excellent job.

I got sick later in the evening after eating there. My beans we're cold, cheese wasn't melted.. A little advice. No need to put noodles in the soup, the broth alone is fantastic. That was the only shining moment for this place. The rest of the food tasted average. The service was decent.

Good place for enchiladas montadas! great red chili. Friendly service. Don't let the outside appearance scare you away. I would recommend for anyone wanting good authentic Mexican food.

The reviews of this place would lead you to believe that it's tasty, authentic, and worth every penny. However, if you are Mexican and are looking for something real, don't come here. The food is just okay, it's not at all authentic, and the service is also just okay. Overall, not the worst place in the world but also not someplace I would return. Side note: It is really affordable so they have that going for them.

My wife and I eat here on a regular basis. She loves the steak Tacos and I really like the menudo.This is a small family operation and the food is like you would get at home. (If your lucky enough to have a mom that can cook).It's a little hidden away off Dyer at Pollard, down the street from the USO.They also will deliver in a reasonable distance.
