1 Smart Noodle is run by two very dedicated, home schooling parents that have given El Paso area kids and their parents something totally new and exciting to do in the city. The shop is amazing, to say the least. I have found a wealth of educational toys here. They carry many hard to find or less well known toys that are big with the indie parent crowd and those of us that are pro-home schooling. The shop is arranged by age appropriate toys, so it is easy to shop. Fair trade, handmade, eco-toys, and educational toys galore - you won't need another toy store. The toys can get pricey, but don't you prefer quality toys to quantity?Even better is the fact that this amazing couple opened up an indoor playground, next door to their shop. The playground is a great alternative to bad weather days (which in this blazing, killer heat is pretty much year round), a great place to arrange a play date, or just a place to relax and enjoy the WiFi while the kids get acquainted and do their kid thing. The fee is $8/per day and you can leave and come back as you please. They also offer snacks for sale, an indoor picnic area, and comfortable lounge seating for parents. Bring a pair of socks for you and the kiddos, as they have a 'no shoes' policy.Summer camps, home schooling workshops, and even extreme couponing workshops can be found here. It really is more than just an educational toy shop: it is a meeting place for the current times. Biggest fan ever.

Great selection! Very friendly. Dont waste your time going somewhere else. The place is fantastic. The owner was very helpful and my mom (who lives in town) is a major fan.

Never take your children there! The owners are very closed minded and say your children need more than what they actually need. There policies are ridiculous by still having to pay for a class when your child can not make it even when you tell them in advance. The shop is nice to buy games for your children but are a Over priced. When you pay for an hour of tutoring the child only receives 50 minutes. I believe there are better companies for private 1 on 1 tutoring. Dont waste your time on going to this place. If your going to invest your money on tutoring for your kids go to another company.
