El Paisano Mexican and American Restaurant

I have been craving Carne Asada fries and we looked everywhere that was open late and ran across this place!! We drove 45 minutes in hope that is would be delicious and it was!! When you walk in you are greeted by the nicest employees ever! The menu is huge and has something everyone would like. My wife got to birria tacos and the meet is very tender and flavorful but a little different texture than traditional birria. I got the carne asada fries and you basically tell them how much of each item that you would want on the fries. The fries were amazing and the meat was flavorful as well. The asada was more of a ground beef texture; which was not what I expected but was still good. All of the toppings were very fresh, the restaurant was very clean and the prices were very affordable! They have a huge menu selection and a ton of seats. It is right off Mill so it is busy which is expected being downtown by a college.

I love food here so so much!Their price is good, service is good like everyone is super friendly, and they keep this place super clean- I can see from outside how they cook and how clean their cooking area is, and the food is like muah! So good!Usually I'd go for birria tacos only, but this time I got a birria taco and a double chicken burger, and they were so yum. I can't say enough how good their birria taco is, but this chicken burger is something. Patty tastes more like a giant chicken nugget, which I really liked it!Can't wait to go back!

This place is amazing. Im addicted to their breakfast burrito. I order via DoorDash and man I have never been disappointed.

came in after finding online. the restaurant is pretty small, but spacious. we ordered quickly at lunchtime on sunday. i ordered the Takis burrito with steak, cilantro, lettuce, jalapeno, and the medium and spicy salsa( no cheese, no queso). the burrito itself was massive, but lacking everything!!! maybe the queso makes it? the man that made my burrito said, "wow, thats going to be super spicy.....". NOPE, not spicy at all. the supposed super spicy green salsa was very watered down, no heat, really honestly no flavor at all. we tried the 4 salsas- one tasted like pizza sauce, the chunky green one was like a sweet green tomato sauce, and the rest watered down, no heat, no zip, no flavor; depressing!! my husbands fajitas were ok too. nothing to be wowed over, wont drive the 50 min to go back. oh ya, bring a plate with you too, because the burritos are messy, and all you git to eat it on is a foil.

Amazing food super kind staff and amazing location. Very busy during college time but slower when college is out got my supervisor and manager to love the location and I've been going there for years no matter where I live in the valley I'll make the drive for their fries

We came here after reading reviews but the asada was not true asada. I am not sure if it was the way it was cut or cooked but it is not asada like we are used to. I think it does well for ASU students but for a family looking for tacos, it was a big MISS. We had friends with us and they liked the Taki tacos and Dorito tacos.

Hands down best Mexican Food in all Az no doubt! Customer service is on point. Literally second to none! Do your self a favor come here to El Paisano! You will leave with a huge smile on your face. Literally everything here is fire however The Shrimp burrito is outstanding! Best I've had. Literally craving it right now as I'm writing this. They treat you like family! Moe and Hashem are the homie! Their customer service is amazing!

New secret menu item!!! Birria quesadilla with hot Cheetos!!! You can thank me later...So so good! The cool creamy dipping sauce goes so well with the spicy flavorful birria and Cheetos taste Service as always is speedy and friendly. Plenty of places to sit as well!

Shit was cheeks , never been so disappointed . Half assed Mexican food should have known what was good from the get go. Shouldnt of listened to shawty . She trippin. But I already paid for this shit but shit weak.

Tried the establishment a few times since food decent and close, but I never felt appreciated or respected as a woman. I even tipped 20 percent for takeout each time, and felt looked down upon!
