Had a really good experience here! We ordered the Barbacoa Burrito and the El Pastor Burrito ($5ea). They were really tasty, but probably too much food for lunch. Need to try the Tacos for lunch, but this was our first foray into eating at one of these Mexican food stands and we were well pleased. I only rated it a 4 star because we have nothing to compare it against. When we have tried a few more places, I may change my rating.

Traditional lonchera mobile. Tacos with your choice of carnes. Lengua al pastor carnitas, buche, barbacoa, chicharones, and asada. Burritos, quesadillas, tortas, gorditas are also available. They also feature mariscos tostadas and cocktails. Ceviche, pulpo, camerones, pescado. Good quick and cheap. $1.25 for a taco.

Yes, yes, and yes! Looking for a real good authentic mexican food? Then you must try this food truck! You can't go wrong with anything you order from here. I've pretty much have had all of their tacos here but I think the best thing they sell here is their bbq burrito. It ain't American BBQ, it is Mexican BBQ which is really a very tender slow cooked meat. Honestly when I first had it, I was hooked and it was over with. It was so good, I honestly could have eaten another one!I had family members from the Philippines and I made sure I brought them here to try it. It is THAT good!

The greatest taco truck this side of Nashville. Friendly staff, incredible food, and very affordable. Bring cash!

Straightforward and perfect come to mind when I think of El Paisa. Simply put, it is the best taco stand I've had the pleasuring of visiting in all of Nashville, and I've been to a few or more. There's so much thought put behind these simple ingredients, that the sum of it's part equals something remarkable. Let's start with how perfectly grilled the tortillas are. Their cooked enough to where you get a crispy texture, yet it's not over-crispy. The carnitas are fried golden brown and have crispy exterior. The pastor is spicy, you get enough heat, but it doesn't take your head off. I saved the best for last and that is the barbacoa. Imagine the most tender, melt in your mouth pot roast, take that and multiply it by a 100 and you have the barbacoa at El Paisa. A touch of cilantro and grilled onions rounds out these beauties. You're served with 2 different sauces and slices of radishes to cleanse your palette. The stand is located in a parking lot with a discount tobacco shop.

Good stuff, but I like the El Dolar taco truck nearby a bit better, and it's a bit cheaper.
