I love the decor and colors of this place. The vibe was really nice and was cozy but not crowded. However, this is one of those times when the reviews have led me astray. Unlike others in the reviews, I did not find the service to be particularly kind or fast (not terrible, but nothing extraordinary). It look about 30 minutes to receive our food, which was flavorful but barely warm. I wonder if it had just been sitting around for a while. I was too hungry at that point to say anything - and didn't really have an option to, because the server did not check in on us until after we were finished eating. I ordered the enchiladas suizas and did enjoy the sauce and the black beans. Though I feel like it wasn't anything special, and definitely not worth the price.

IMO this restaurant was a little overpriced for the amount of food we got! There were only a few shrimp in the dish and it was decently expensive. The restaurant itself is very cute with on-theme decorations and was very packed during dinner time on a weekday! I don't think I would come back here regularly since I don't think it's worth the price, but I had a fairly good experience and it satisfied my Mexican food craving!

The food was good, but not worth if for the price. The whole restaurant is small but has that authentic Mexican feel. We were not sure who our server was and they were a little slow bringing things out. Probably won't go back, again the prices were really high for what we got.

Great food - I had the fish tacos and my daughter had the carnitas - Great portion sizes and nicely presented. We sat in the back by the bar, looked like a great tequila selection. Service was really friendly, food came out promptly. Had to wait a few minutes on a Sunday at lunchtime, which is a good sign that it is busy. Only drawback although minor is the chips and salsa is not free it is like $6.

I was excited to try this spot and was honestly a little let down. The cocktails were great, I got a house margarita and my friend got the alcoholic horchata, but the food was disappointing. My tostada was bland and so were the rice and beans. At almost $60 per person, I would have hoped for better quality food and more flavor.

Decided to try this hole in the wall restaurant in Ballard. Really cute ambience and very friendly staff. I ordered the Camarones enchipotlados, it was delicious! The smoky chipotle sauce was perfection and I thoroughly enjoyed my dinner. I would have like some Spanish rice in place of the white rice but that's just me.The Cadillac margarita was one of the best I have had. Overall a great experience, I will return for more!

Between here and Oaxaca, I have my old Ballard staples for anything Mexican.Service is kind and fast, the restaurant always seems tidy and clean and love the colors. Kitchen is semi open on the bar side and everyone seems like they're happy to be there.Spicy Bloody Maria (tequila) is excellent, a good kick. And tacos are on point. Substantial portions will not leave you hungry!

We've been here twice and the reason we came back the second time was because we really enjoyed their mole chilaquiles! Unfortunately both times our service was bad. The waitress didn't make us feel welcome, barely recommend anything even after we mentioned it was our first time and after getting my order wrong, she blamed it on the cooks and didn't apologize for the inconvenience. After the first visit we gave Marta P (based on the receipt) the benefit of the doubt and thought maybe it was a bad day but after coming back and receiving the same service we decided maybe it's best to stay away in the future. I used to get the guacamole and chips from El Moose to enjoy with my leftovers from another Mexican restaurant, whose entrees I prefer. No more. The guacamole is:only about 2/3 of a container that they used to fill to the top;loaded with lots more tomato than previously;watered down;priced at $12 plus tax.It's disappointing that yet another local restaurant is giving less for a higher price (the guac and chips used to be $10). This long-time customer won't be back.
