El Mariachi Mexican Restaurant

The idea that all Mexican restaurants are the same is far too common and needs to be overcome; El Mariachi is the restaurant to do that.Sure, there are similarities; in fact, most of my experience was nothing but similarities! So why am I giving El Mariachi a 5 star?The food. Oh my goodness the food. Slap your knee or cry tears of joy, do whatever you need to do to get out your pure ecstasy as you take bite after bite of delicious meals.They have patio and inside seating, a rather small but workable parking lot, fast and accurate service, and it is very clean.

I have been here several times in the past but this time was not whatsup..... My fish was waaaayy over cooked & my avacado had a sticker still intact.

We came into this restaurant with high hopes, and did our usual routine when trying a New Mexican place. Checking out the drink menu first, looking around and discussing the art on the walls, ordering tequila shots and margs, and then finally settling down and analyzing the food menu. It was somewhat difficult to decide what to order. Not because of the expansive options, but the lack thereof. After finally ordering we waited for a while to get the food that we did order, but it was rather bland opposed to other places around that we have eaten. Overall, I would give this place a 3.6/10. The drinks however, are top notch when the prices come into play.

This was unfortunately one of the worst experiences I've ever had. I hate leaving negative reviews but I also want to be honest. The chips tasted old, stale, the salsa was not fresh - reminded me of the cheap Walmart jarred salsa. The Margs were cheap but disappointing - not flavored well, my cup was dirty. The food was average, my boyfriend liked his quesadilla and my burrito was standard. Sadly, the service was unprofessional, pretty sure the waiter was intoxicated and running the place by himself with maybe 1 person in the kitchen. The overall restaurant felt cringy and dirty. Won't be back.

I went here for happy hour the other day and was pleasantly surprised with the deals. Not only do they make a very good guacamole but their happy hour drink specials are amazing. I opted to go for the mix of margarita and sangria and it's absolutely delicious.I'll update when I go in for a full meal but for now I can say this drink is a must try. Get the guac to go with it and enjoy the amazing hospitality!

Worst Mexican restaurant I've ever been to. I just wanted to stop in and have basic Mexican food for lunch with low expectations and this place exceeded my low expectations. I have never been to prison but I imagine this is what their version of Mexican food would be like. It's cheap and fast which is why I assume they are still in business but the food is gross. The people are friendly so hopefully they turn this thing around.

Under new ownership 6 months ago! We stopped in for a late lunch and I ordered Mexican tacos and some grilled jalapeños on the side! The tortillas were grilled, the meat was so delicious - just like I'm used to eating back in CA. My mom got the tortilla soup that they made special for her and it was SO Good! They need to update their menu photos online - will be back for sure!

Under new management? Order beer if you don't want to drink a virgin and pay for the real that. Great server but everything else seems off.

I really like eating here but they make it so difficult at lunch time. I use to be able to call in a to go order and run up at lunch time and get it. Now, they keep the phone off the hook so no one can order! This is very frustrating for folks that only have 30 mins for lunch. By the time you go there, place your order & wait, your 30 mins is gone!!
