This restaurant serves some of the best tacos I've had in the area. I ordered tacos of several different varieties, all had exceptional flavor. Also, I ordered a side of rice, which was delicious, and the taco sauces were very good. I highly recommend this restaurant.

If you have not hit up this hidden gem in North Everett, do yourself a favor and try it. I have been eating their Queso Birria tacos since they only had a food truck. Now it's made extra easy and convenient now that they have their own brick and mortar! I frequently bring co-workers and friends to this spot. If you go for lunch be prepared. There is limited parking and seating. The inside is clean and and has a nice ambiance. The owners are always working, and all of the employees are friendly and very delightful.I stopped by for their Thursday special 2 orders of the Queso tacos and 2 sodas for $20(I don't know how long this will last it's such a good deal). I have brought people that have said 3 tacos won't be enough, but I have yet to have anyone leave not full and happy. Now they offer other items, but I have a hard time ordering anything else than the Birria Queso tacos. If it ain't broke don't fix it! I have had friends order different meats and also the ramen Birria. Not one dissatisfied customer. Everything so far is a home run. Doubt it'll change!

Really good birria tacos that you can find north of the Seattle area in Everett. The queso birria tacos are cheesy solid tacos and packed with meat! I would definitely come here again to grab some great birria FoodI got the queso birria taco plate and would get it all over again. The tacos are filled with meat and are a decent portion size. I do wish there was more cheeseyness to it but there was a good amount. There taco shell itself is nicely toasted and the consumme was good. A decent amount of rice and beans in the side to go with your tacos. AtmosphereThe restaurant is very casual and has a couple of tables to sit at. Noise level wasn't too bad when I went but I could see it getting loud since the space is small. Big windows to let in light. PricingPrices were decent and not too expensive. I've had more expensive tacos from taco trucks or places in the Seattle area. Good prices for the amount of food and quality. ServiceOrder at the counter and then you can eat the food inside the restaurant if you want but seems like a lot of people take it to go. Bus your own tables. The service was good and friendly. OtherKind of a small parking lot in front since it's shared with a buddy laundromat next door.

Our team had a big order, so even though we had our pickup time right when they opened. It wasn't done till an hour later. Everything was so yummy and filling. Cheese beef Queso tacos (birria)- super crispy texture on that complimented with the soupQuesadilla- crispy cheese filling on the inside that was addicting. Beef taco - the pickled onion and cilantro paired well with the beef tacos and sauce

I finally had the chance to stop into the brick & mortar location. In the past I have only ordered from the food truck when scheduled at local breweries. There is free parking in the small parking lot shared with the laundromat. Discover is an accepted form of payment.Indoors is small with only a handful of tables. There didn't appear to be any AC on my visit. Alcohol is not served.I have only eaten the tamales from their food truck and was quite disappointed to learn that tamales are a specialty and only served during select times, such as around Thanksgiving.I placed a to-go order of two Queso Tacos for $4 each: one Pollo (chicken) and one Al Pastor (Pork). I also ordered a side of Rice and Beans for $5. Of the two meat choices, I preferred the Pollo. The Pastor had a subtle cinnamon flavor that I didn't care for. Both tacos were full, quite filling and greasy. The beans are more on the runny side but had good flavor. The rice was standard Mexican rice.Allow yourself 15 minutes to walk in and place a to-go order.Service was friendly and efficient.Overall, I am happy to have finally stopped into El Mariachi; however, I'm not quite sure if El Mariachi will be on my rotation due to the fact that it's not really as convenient as I had originally thought and I'm not used to the high levels of grease in my diet.

Delivery reviewIn shortKiller birrieria. The Herald up here has been flipping out over it, and so have lots of other online sources. Easy to see why.In longIt's better to check out a place in person for your first meal there (let alone first review), because not many foods are designed to sit in a car for 15 minutes before you tuck in. This is a small place, though, and tacos travel a bit better than other things, so here we are. Now that I've eaten the food I kinda wanna fight the parking and seating hassles and check 'em out firsthand. Quesadilla (Chile Colorado)Thick and juicy. Lots of quesadillas are about as thick as two folded tortillas; places just skimp on filling. Not here. Big messy delicious portion. Tons of smoky deep flavors in the carne and the chile. Red & Green salsas worked perfectly with every dish. Queso Tacos (Carne Guisada)Nice layer of white cheese under super-tasty carne. Tons of seasoning flavor, very tender. Plenty of limes, cilantro, and onions on the side. I already want more of these less than a day later. EsquitesAwesome dish hardly anyone else seems to have. Crunchy corn, other great veg, plenty of delicious flavors. Keto Tacos (Birria, Carne Guisada, Chile Colorado)Best keto tacos around up here. Almost crunchy on the shells, which ya never get. Awesome meat flavors. So cool that you can get 3 different meats in one order of 3 tacos. These folks nail everything, starting with the meats. Awesome deep complex flavors. Not crazy spicy, all savory notes. Salsas are similarly savory with not a crazy amount of heat. Extra salsas are 75 cents for 2 oz or so. Worth it! You will drench something with them and run out if you don't get extra. Generous sides. Prices are more than fair. Competition for Mexican food bragging rights gets fiercer and fiercer all the time up here, even with a really good newer spot going under this year.

Birr-i-a-tas-tic!Aight, being from LA I know a thing or two about good tacos. This place checks all the boxes! The proprietor of the joint is also a fellow Angelino so I had high hopes, and they delivered! I know I'm kinda hyping it up but I (nor my crew) were not disappointed, we had quesitacos of: birria, tinga, al pastor. They were all good, granted the tinga coulda been a bit spicy but flavors were all there. The 3 they serve you in the combo is worth the price and they are filling, I'm a big boy and can eat and I got full off the 3 (I'm just sayin). But do yourself a favor and try them out!Happy eatin,-FJ

My friend and I visited El Mariachi Birria Y Tacos in search of a good birria spot in Everett. It was busy when we arrived, and parking was hectic with the limited available parking spots. When inside, there was a decent amount of seating available and significant decor in the restaurant. The staff member who took our order was patient and provided helpful suggestions. We ordered the Queso Birria taco and Al Pastor taco. Our food took about 15 minutes to be ready, considering big orders were placed before us. Nonetheless, we were stunned by the presentation of our meal. It was neatly organized with available toppings such as cilantro and pickled radish, which we added to our tacos for flavor. The meat of the Queso Birria taco was well-seasoned and juicy, with a nice crunch. The sauce was a great addition to the taco, adding more flavor. Overall, I highly recommend this birria spot to taco lovers out there!! I find this place one of my favorite taco spots in Everett due to the price and food quality! I will return for more :)

Wow! If you haven't stopped in and tried the queso tacos w/birria, you're missing out!Smaller dining area (like 6ish two tops and maybe 1-2 four tops) and if you come during a lunch rush, you might have to wait a few minutes. Everything came out pretty fast though! The guy working the counter was super friendly and helpful with any questions about the menu. Highly recommend dining in if you can but the tacos hold up nicely for ordering to-go/door dash. The Birria came with a small consomé but I ordered the large. Worth it to be able to slam dunk and totally soak up all the deliciousness! Oh and the little green salsa they give you will blow your mind. USE IT! I'm drooling just writing this up and will be dreaming of those tacos til I make my way back up North! Highly recommend.
