El Maguey Tacos

Such good food!! This unassuming little take out window, attached to a gas station, has amazing food!! We were on a road trip and hungry! We wanted something fast and tasty. I personally, know the secret, that gas station taco shops are the place to eat. Lol Authentic and affordable! (I'm used to this from California, and now Georgia). My boyfriend was a little skeptical. Lol we parked and stood in line in the cold. FOOD: We ordered two chicken Mulitas (I love mulitas and they're harder to find on menus). They were so good! We also ordered four tacos- two chicken, one asada, one shrimp. All tasty. We got the big salad and chose shrimp w it-- this was soooooo good! Better than i expected. Could've been it's own meal. We also ordered a cheese quesadilla for child and it was large and delicious he said. We also got the horchata, which to me, was risky-- since many places don't make it front scratch anymore, but instead a powder and it's way overly sweet and meh. BUT THIS HORCHATA?!?! I almost cried out of happiness, because it was so good and gave me nostalgia. It was flavorful and not too sweet at all. Perfection! We had wished we ordered a large! My boyfriend loved it too. It tasted like a Mexican abuela made it fresh just for us! Waiting in the cold was worth it all. Our food took 15 min to make, the girl working was helpful, and we highly recommend this spot! They take card. See pictures to drool!

Solid Carne asada tortas here. Might have to come back for other items on the menu. Horchata is huge and a bit on the sweeter side for my taste.

Absolutely horrible service. They were missing an entire plate of 4 tacos plus got 2 of the other 4 items completely wrong. When we went to exchange the incorrect items were told that "We could order another." How about you fix another how it was ordered? This wasn't a case of them not hearing correctly- this was an online order that they read before preparing & could very easily look at to verify our wrong order.

Keeping it very simple. My go to place for tacos, quesadillas, tortes and burritos. Always on point.

As always great tasting food. Small menu but that's good. Everything I've had here has been authentic and great. Wait time isn't long as well which works out even better. Prices are very reasonable, I'd love to see this place have their own brick and mortar place.

I love it always good food and fast. They are always nice and clean I love it !!! Me and my family for sure are coming every Friday there!!

Food wasn't great, service was horrible. My friend and I ordered food. He got 4 tacos and it took half an hour to get the food. After he finished his food, I asked about my order and they told me it takes a while. My other friend who showed up late ordered 5 people after me. He then received his food and still nothing for me. Then they told me they would start my order. I asked for a refund and told them what I thought about them. Avoid this place. Totally not worth it.

The horchata is better than La Michoacána is something I can say, I dare to say better than Oscars Taco shops Horchata as well...The menu is limited and costs you about $6.00-$7.00 for a meal which is reasonable for the amount of food you get. I enjoy their steak quesadilla it is very large! I also like their fresh carnitas tacos. This is a wonderful hole in the wall business located right outside the Kwik Sak gas station- it surprised me very much.

Definitely my favorite taco spot. The spicy pork and carne asada tacos are to die for! Their salsa verde is also amazing and i'm pretty picky when it comes to sauce. I knocked off one star because the owner or whoever was at the register of the gas station (that the taco shop is in) is a freaking weirdo. I went into the gas station to use the restroom and then went outside to order my tacos. As I stood in line with my cousin, we noticed the man at the register kept coming outside to stare at us... when we noticed him staring, we stared back. he then proceeds to go into the taco shop kitchen window to stare at us again as if we weren't gonna notice? As we were leaving he stood outside and watched us as we drove away. It made us really uncomfortable so now every time we come we refuse to go into that gas station. If the tacos weren't that good i'd never come back but they really are soooo delicious.

When you want delicious authentic tacos, this is the place to go. It taste like... incredible
