We ordered breakfast burrito fixings for a 'meet the baby' party for our 2 month old son. Catering was helpful and professional, delivery was right on time, and the food was incredible! We received lots of complements on the quality and variety of the food. Lots of delicious add-ons as well, like guacamole and different types of salsa. We will definitely be ordered from them again. I got one carnitas taco that almost cost me $5 but they give it to you with plenty of meat and another tortilla so technically it's two for that price. The customer service is really good and helpful but the food wasn't the best. The meat was very bland and dry luckily the salsa they make is really good, I just had to cover it in that and it was good but a good taco should be bomb no matter what you put on it. There are so many good taco shops in San Diego that are better than this. I gave it 2 stars cause the environment is really cool here and I also got to give them some love for making their own tortillas. This place definitely has potential!

Stopped here for dinner on Saturday night and was not impressed. Ordered tamales, enchiladas, nachos, fish taco, chicken burrito and large chips and salsa. The chips are house made. I was really looking forward to some good chips and salsa and unfortunately that didn't happen. The salsa was good, and had great flavor. The chips were thick and and difficult to eat because they were like trying to bite down on rocks. The same chips were used for the nachos and that's one thing you don't need to worry about is soggy chips. Even with the nacho cheese and salsa covering the chips they were still hard and not enjoyable. The combination plates for the tamale and enchiladas came with rice and beans. The rice and beans were very good. The Refried beans had wonderful flavor and what you expect when eating mexican food. The tamale and enchiladas were flavorful, no complaints. The fish taco and burrito were just average nothing to rave about. Overall this place was not great. I had high hopes with it being one of the top mexican restaurants for San Diego. They were even on dine in and drives show. I'd like to know what Guy Fieri was eating because the 8 of us that dined here didn't get it. The food was a total miss. Very disappointed and will not be recommending.

You have to try El Indio if you're in San Diego. The tacos are big and they don't skimp out on the meat. Chips were great ,They have their own parking lot across the street which is a big plus.

This restaurant had the best taquitos. The food is delicious!! This is going to be my first stop when I come to San Diego. The staff were friendly and helpful. The restaurant was clean. Prices were extremely fair. I took my family of 6 and paid $30 and we were all full. Great Restaurant!!

The catering is great! Highly recommend! Mary will take care of you. They did our wedding last month and absolutely blew our guests away with the delicious food. Mary and the rest of the El Indio team went above and beyond to make our event special. From the first contact through final clean up, they were on top of all details and attended to every need we had no matter how small. Wonderful organization and communication from Mary. She will make you feel like you are a VIP client. The food was so good and the presentation was beautiful. We are still getting emails and texts about how much everyone loved it.
