El Huevo Estrellado 2

Today was our first time ordering from here. We placed a phone order for 3 burritos: machaca, egg potato cheese & ham breakfast, and a bean and cheese. We added sausage to the breakfast burrito too! I don't think they even charged us extra for that This is a hidden gem in my opinion. We have tried a few Mexican places in Alpine and they haven't been particularly great. This is the best one so far. The burritos were perfectly wrapped in yellow paper and then with foil. Presentation was immaculate for a to go order. The wrapping is key! The tortillas were very soft and warm when we got home to eat them. The ingredients in the machaca tasted fresh. The peppers still had a little crisp to them which I like. Not sad soggy chopped pieces they tend to give you at other places. The beans in the bean and cheese... they were pretty dang good! Not like the hard to get down thick sludge you sometimes get at other places. Probably the best bean burrito I have had in years. My bf went in to grab the order and he said the guy working was really nice. Definitely our new go to burrito spot. Please try this place to keep them in business!

3rd time here and it doesn't disappointThe food is excellent and the customer service is top notchGive this place a try and it may just become your favorite Mexican food place in Alpine

We went there and ordered guacamole and three menu items. Just ok with better food at other Alpine Mexican restaurants. No reason to go back.

Delicious! We tried this new spot tonight and were not disappointed! Ordered a carne asada burrito, California burrito, surf & turf burrito and rolled tacos. Everything was fresh and flavorful. The employees were so friendly. We will definitely be back! Go support this small business!
